This phone is obviously a compromise between a smart phone and a PDA. If you ask me the phone wins handsdown. Ive not seen so much anticipation for a phone since the 6230. Anyone who says that any Nokia comes close to this are talkin garbage. This phone has every function you could possibly need to keep yourself busy and it does them well and with style. What more could you want? This is why i will be purchasing this phone. Those Nokia lovers beware! Sony Ericsson have made a Nokia killer!

i've seen and done some self test to many mobile phones. I get a conclusion that SE has outstanding performance in their features. SE's bluetooth, screen display, sound quality, for example, are above the others. There are many products with the same or maybe better features compare to S700. But, talking about the quality... I think SE products should be the one you looking for. Thanks.

i work in a mobile phone shop and there is huge anticipation with this phone. half of our staff are on tenterhooks waiting for this phone to be released so they can get there hands on it! the screen will be unparalleled and the camera will blow everythin away. to compare it to a 6630 is laughable. the functions may be similar but when it comes to classiness and reputation for reliability then SE wins hands down. This phone will be an entertainment centre to carry round with you, most people get bored with their handsets after a few months but this will be the only phone on the market to keep people like us busy. I cant wait. Nokia doesnt come close. Go back to Finland Nokia!

it depends on the memory left,my p900 has 32mb and it records video up to 2hrs.
s700 has 68 mb .probobly it can record video of up to 3hrs. nokia 7610 sucks!
i hate u nokia! i love u very much SE..lets get married.

I have one question--> Since the NOK7610 has 10 minute video capturing capabilities ... how many minutes of video does the S700 have? how many continuous minutes that is?

yes, it has a FM RADIO..i tried it my self..and can make mp3 as a ringtone too..and i've seen the NOKIA 6630 (btw the design is just like spoon, isn't it?)..i dont like the design, just like 3650..

I am CONFIRM that i am going to get SE S700.....Worth waiting for a phone like this !!! It is super cool as the features is v.good and it look like a PDA when i first saw it , the design is far more better than Nokia 7610. I am not saying nokia is suck or what , but nokia design is getting too funky n their quality is dropping. Now just hope Sony Ericsson can create better handphone for everyone in the future !

Nokia 6630~ hahaa....as if it will be better than S700. Nokia is losing lah pal~ with all that brick designs and same old features, NOkia is going to lose its market shares very soon. Well done SE~!! bye my old friend, Nokia. Better go to the old folk's home soon! hahha

Don't you think it's strange that sony ericsson doesn't want to sell the S710 too in Europe?! It will only sold in America, and the europeans get the S700.
