Could you please help me with some questions about the video and mp3. How long can you contantly video and how many mp3s can this hold. I'm trying to decide out of this and the Samsung p777 that advertises 60 minutes of video and 25 mp3s on 100mb shared memory. I know the s710 can hold a 126mb card, but can the video length be long per clip or does it max at a minute or so? Hope you can help. --- Tetris Oh yeah and can you watch music videos on it? Are they easy to download or upload to the s710?

i am very sure next upgrde should have umts, 2mpix cam, faster menu, holde bigger memory stick, camera in front for 3g, touch screen would be nice, and better mic postion, and more option on menu, better reslution screen(640x480? :) , auto focus, 4x optical zoom,
than again, that is what we all hope for, if internal memory is bigger and take big size video(resolution) than it will be ipod killer, nokia n-xx killer,

The recorded video is very weak. its small and not smooth. don't expet much on this. The main and only feature this phone has over the S700i is EDGE.

Just spent an additional 20 mins poking around the developer forums etc, and at first glance (to answer my own question) no JSR-135 MMAPI support. Great. Looked wonderful. But how does my Java app send photos without it?
Why is there ALWAYS something missing. With a 1.3 mpix camera you'd think JSR-135 would be a no-brainer

I'd like to get this phone. Does anyone know if it can be used with bluetooth foldable keyboard? Also does it do Java Midp2.0 with MMAPI (jsr135)?

I have this phone for the past 1 week. So fat it's been good to me, comparing to my old i90 Nextel phone, this is technologically superior. I am glad I am now kinda uptodate with my phone tech. Very good phone to use so far. I am enjoying all of its function. I still have one unanswered question, hopefully someone could help. That is: Does this thing takes Memory stick duo upto say 512 or 1 gig?
Please email me if you know. Thanks

I have this phone for 2 months now, great one!
The clarity is very good, and the downloadable themes is fantastic, camera quality unbelievably wonderful.
But sometimes it freezes, thats the only bad thing about the phone and i havent found a good pouch for it

This is my dream phone. I love the gigantic screen, the swivel and Bluetooth. I’ve had it for a month now, and I still can’t believe how cool the video recorder is. It takes really good pictures and the speakerphone and mp3 player sound great. Plus, I was surprised it came with a USB memory stick reader and it wasn’t an additional accessory I had to purchase. The only problems are that it’s a bit bulky and the price of course is EXCESSIVE. If I wasn’t able to get it for $40, I wouldn’t have been able to get this great phone. If you want to find out how you can get it for $40 as well, just email me at chinolany@hotmail.com.

This seems to be an awesome phone except that protective pouches have to be specialised cause it twists open and its a bit big.
I would just like to know if the phone can take a memory card larger than 128mb? I know sony make a "Memory Stick Pro Duo" that sizes up to about 4GB. I'd be happy to fit 512mb, but 128 is just not enough once you want to listen to more than two cd's worth of music AND put applications, pictures and videos on it.
Also, does anyone know if you can disable those anoying shutter sounds? If not, I hope someone from Sony Ericsson reads this and realises that it would be a good idea to add it in the next firmware upgrade?
Still very decent phone. I'd recommend it without a doubt.

I'm thinking about getting this or the samsung E720 or the SE z800.... i still dunno wat to get... they are both REALLY good phones, function wise and fashion wise... I'm sorta leaning towards the s710 because its so cool :) and plus my friend has one... for those who have, is the reception good?
