Hey guys, i dropped my Satio in water, and the only part that works is the red light at the top and the vibration when you swtch it on. Does this mean that the phone is completely broken or will it still work? I got another battery put into it to see and it came on but i switched it off to put my sim in and now it wont turn on at all, not even the red light. Whats happening? and how can i fix it?

i would rather go for the n8 than the satio it is cheaper and running a newer symbian platform

actually i need to buy a phone ! i dont know which i should . i like satio very much but i am hearing so many complaints about this model . i want a phone with touch screen , no bugs , with good camera , good design , should support lods of applications. can anyone help

satio is one of the most best phone for the year 2010 especially for instant e-mail instant messaging , skype, pannels, internet, facebook application , applications cuz symbian port , great screen ever (high contrast) , and best camera ever but lack of 3.5 mm jack

now SE wants to be an ultimate phone maker
SE dont want to produce only java phones because technology is going forward
now most of the people want smart phone so SE should make some phones for them too

I bought Satio yesterday, it comes with the latest firmware. tha camera is excellent, the response of the touch screen is quick,no lags & bugs noticed so far. the menu structure is like nokia's N97 but much more polished and it has a videocall cam as well. a very good phone with tons of apps

I have been on this forum in the past and I have deceided to come back to convey some of my comments
As a big Sony Ericsson fan I have bought most of their mobile phones to be part of my massive Sony Ericsson collection .
As for Satio is concerned , I have some comments that made me to be annoyed
1- the phone is using NOKIA Symbian platform and most of the companies are making their own platforms , this made SATIO to look like a NOKIA phone
2- 2 years ago Sony Ericsson had a Sofware company called UIQ and they have made nice phones back then , and that time UIQ used the Symbian to develop their programs , now the NOKIA S60 lacks some of the feature that I have used extensively is the accepting calls , either from the contact list , or from my customised list and Groups , sadly this is not in S60 by Nokia
3- I love the phone in General but its not the best phone to put in your pocket .
4- as in JAVA phones and in UIQ symbian phones , you can detect the % of the power left or charges and this is abscent in This S60 platform
5- when connecting to WI FI Java phones WI FI Indicator turn into in Green colour but this is not implemented in S60 platform
as you can see that Sony ericsson has shifted away from some basic features that we used to have in their phones and that I used to love and use
As sony ericsson it should have kept some of its sotware characteristics that we used to distiguish from the rest

i think the next updates will be launched by sony when nokia launch the symbian^3 so that sony need not launch any other updates when symbian^3 is launched.
