last time when i emailed them, they asked me to bring my satio to the service center and ask the technician to install the generic software. But, i haven't done it.

These petition is just a trick in order for them to gather a lot of logs. You know, sonny ericsson has its own strategy, they have a very competent technical teams so what is in our mind this time is a lot late to what is in there plans for the succeeding supports and updates. Don't get fooled with bribes.

I have used sony & nokia ,i found that nokia is master symbian ,battery backup is always best then all other mobile,while sony is good in camera ,look ,if it is android then sony is good

Aino fw will be available so it means we satio users will bout to have our satio be updated again for the 3rd time wid awesome hd recording and many more... pls sign for the petition of the features to be added nxt fw... sony ericsson we love u better than wat we normally feel!! an update of satio is wat we beg from u... hope before the end of may the fw be released... A petition for Sony Ericsson to give us the features we want on our Satio.
Here is a list of what we Satio users want:
* Upgrade to symbian^3 (the x10 is getting android 2.1, also the Satio doesn't utilize symbian^1 properly; also this could help you compete against the nokia n8 which has a 12mp camera)
** HD recording (the x10 is getting HD recording why not the Satio it has the required cpu to handle HD recording, this would also help you compete agianst the nokia n8)
1) Kinetic scrolling throughout the whole UI
2) Correct the issues with T9 dictionary
3) Make phone faster
4) Give Vivaz home screen
5) Kinetic scrolling when using the Internet
6) Flash lite 3.1 also flash 10.1(as adobe have confirmed phones with arm a8 cortex clocked 600MHz + will get this) integrated throughout whole UI including Internet
7) Media search function in media player
8) Make phone louder ( loudspeaker when receiving call, when playing music out loud)
9) Voice dialing
10) Smileys and animation in SMS messaging
11) Auto continuous focusing whilst recording
12) Visualizer in music player
13) Ability to update firmware via FOTA
14) Better picture quality and faster camera menu
15) Settings in Media Menu ( change back picture, theme etc.)
16) Force-Flash in camera settings
17) Increase sharpness (Photos)
18) Use Geotaging Info in Google maps (like in C905...)
19) Auto change to full qwerty mode if you make you phone landscape from alphanumeric mode
20) Standby improvement (battery)
21) Integrated EQ in media player (allowing you to manually set your EQ up)
22) Option to turn on and off auto music leveling system (as it ruins your music experience)
23) Full Facebook application not a third party application
24) Fix the screen lag that some people have (screen tearing)
25) Fix clock problem (clock losing time)
26) More pre-installed games and applications
27) Windows 7 Device Stage support
28) SensMe in media (Isn't the phone supposed to be a combination of Cybershot and Walkman?)
29) Proper zoom in media (When you zoom the photo enlarges but does not fill the whole screen! why?)
30) Kastor Effects (It has a graphics accelerator, why not use it?)
31) Upgraded YouTube and Google apps
32) 3D task manager
33) Faster kinetic scrolling in media
34) Volume level pop up throughout the UI not just the Media and home screen.
35) Upgrade the web browser to V2
36) Sign AppTRK (so developers do not have to hack their phone to write programs.)
37) Improve phone search
38) Add Arm Cortex A8 Neon support like the i8910 to make the some applications faster
39) Fix dead links ( I do not want to click a link and see a page not found message)
40) Add Snapfish support like the Vivaz
41) Ability to add/remove words from t9
42) Add smart search to dialler (previous SE phones had it)
43) Improve microphone quality (video/sound recording is very quiet)
44) Ability to play HD films on phone; also divx/xvid support
45) RDS in radio.
46) Change volume level and tracks whilst the phone is locked.
47) Multi Channel Sound in Gaming. The Samsung i8910 can play background music and engine sounds in Ferrari GT at the same time! Why can the Satio only play the background music or the engine sounds at one time?

Anonymous, 06 May 2010hey there, how do you know that the next update is coming ... morecan"t w8 for the rumored fw update for satio... hope it"s not really a rumor but it"s a fact... this will be the 3rd update and we hope mediascape, hd recording, timescape, better slideshow effects in media, changeable media background, display brightness enhancement, loudspeaker enhancement vivas homesreen, enhance pix quality, fs 12 mp,modern conversation style,battery life should be prioritize,symbian 3 hope by added if possible!!! these are some of the xpected features that wod make satio megaphon no more no less... tnx sony ericsson we then promise our utmost loyalty wid ur company!!
