souhza, 11 Feb 2010Today again my touchscreen acting weird again I already try... morehey..have you tried to have it checked at the S.E service center..before my S.E Satio acted also weired on the touch calibration...and service center told me that it has a factory defect..they are now in the process of replacing "That" hardware and if it still don't work they will replace it with new one with no extra cost.

I never save anything on my internal memory, you probably lose it if the phone is broken or muts be sent to repair. Long live the external memory cards. Low internal memory is only a problem if the phone saves everything and every app on it.

SE has problems with big internal memories, that's what I don't like. Do you think I don't like to see a SE with 16Gb or more intenral storage? I want to see some great smartphones with bigger storage. :) But the Satio has 8GB Memory card in the pocket, so I think it is enough.

java / .sis/ .sisx.jar & .sis formats work on the phone. Search for Nokia 5800 apps. Apps should be in the same screen resolution.
The battery life is good, 2 days at least when using it on regular base: playing games and going on the internet, making some calls and sending a lot of text messages. This all with 3G on, turning that off even extends the life. That's pretty awesome for a smartphone like this, my G1 battery had a higher amount of Mah but a way shorter life (less than 1 day). For that reason the comparison between the Satio and the Omnia is rubbish, you can't just compare the specs, you actually have to test and use both. Perhaps the Omnia HD's bigger and more colourfull screen drains more of the battery?

Today again my touchscreen acting weird again I already try update da firmware and even try repair da phone which is in pc suite..Stability is what i seek for this great phone.I hope all the apps I use can be use in a stable manner.Hoping se let out more newer firmware

SATIO Vs i8910 OMNIA HD
I got an oppurtunity to play with both omnia HD and satio and hence able to give my openions. Please note: these are just my openions.and I am neither a fan of Samsung nor a fan os Sony Ericsson. and I am very sorry if I hurt the sentiments of Sony Ericsson or Samsung Fans
Omnia HD - 3.5inch screen for sony vs 3.7 inch screen screen AMOLED for omnia
looks like this is still one of the best screens available in the market (Omnia Wins)
Internal storage - 16gb for omnia vs 128mb for satio. both of them have 32gb expandable slots. - (omnia wins)
camera - 8mp for omnia vs 12 mp for satio. Satio clearly wins.
both of them have excellent camera sensors. awesome colour recognition. Satio also produces images which consume less file size than omnia. Clearly Satio is the winner
Video Recording: HD recording for Omnia vs VGA recording for Satio.
Clearly Omnia is the winner. But remember that VGA recording of satio is flawless and does its job excelently. and you might not need actually such a high quality vide of omnia HD, which occupies a lot of memory
There is a new entrant in this category which beats both omnia HD and Satio that is Vivaz. along with 720pHD, it offers continuous autofocus throught video recording and 24fps is maintained without any drop in frame rate. that is amazing.
battery: omnia hd 1500 Mah Vs Satio 1000 Mah. Omnia is the winner.
omnia hd excellent TV out in built + DLNA functionality is also present. Omnia is the winner.
correct me if I am wrong.
other minor things, which are clearly my personal openions. and are debatable:
Omnia HD - Scratch-resistant surface (Omnia Wins)
Omnia HD - 3.5mm jack inbuilt (Omnia Wins)
Satio is 22 grams less than omnia hd (satio wins)
Satio is slightly costlier than omnia hd (omnia wins)
body shape, material used, solid looks: (omnia wins) -- my openion and is clearly debatable.
camera shutter is there for satio - satio is winner -- my openion and is debatable. People say, why do u need a shutter. the dust can be wiped of, when the glass really spoils, just through it away and replace the lid alone. that would do
other than that, the digital compass, smart card reader, gravity sensors, metal detectors and those kinds of things have not been used to compare phones because, they are like stuff for kids only. no real use with them

i had an e63 nokia phone, it says 120 phone memory/c: memory on specifications and yeah its what shows if you will check the phone memory...and the first day i got it it shows 20mb used, 100mb free meaning on satio, it should show the space accumulated by apps preinstalled

I had a thing where my phone went nuts and wouldn't turn on, i removed and replaced old memory card i had with my old phone, with the one that came with the satioworks great now. The old card was corrupted, so it didnt work efficiently, you ,ight have the same issue, or it may just be slow reading. If you try using another card, or formatting the card in your computer, it might help alot. Also where are you saving your information, onto the card or the internal memory. The more u store on internal memory, the slower your phone will get, just like a comp. My old htc was ten trillion times slower than the satio and that only had a quarter of the stuff i have loaded onto it.
