Im in SA on the MTN network, but i bought a Vodacom, Vodafone branded Satio & it plays youtube, just checked now. Check your internet settings maybe, I remember something in teh settings about allowing streaming, but I cannot remember where I saw it...

I cant view YouTube videos on my Satio. I am in South Africa, and uses Vodacom Network, despite being on a 3G coverage area. I called Sony Ericson, the guy was not supprised, he said MTN does not have that problem, is only Vodacom Customers. Having bought a phone after receiving so many negativy comments about it, I immediatelly updated the software, hence maybe I have not yet experience the freezing problem. But recently it has been dictating me the viewing mode vertical/horizontal, and after receiving a call I heard an eco. I like this phone, hope it is not going to let me down. Anyone in SA using Vodacom and cannot connect to YouTube vedios ?

The USB Stand, seconds as a flash drive... look at the slider, you can insert the memory card into that and use as a flash stick.

Even the current touchscreen line up of Nokia experience bugs and maybe, worse than SE. My friends 5800's camera stopped working after a month. So stop talking nonsense things.

What is this video viewing stand, i know its a stand, but what is the use of USB plug on it(tried plugging,just a drive nothing in it). Any infos?

dont go for sony erricsson satio it hangs so much & get switch off automatically ...above that its service center people are really dumb ass..they wont change your phone and don have any powres in your hand my phone is with them from 7 days & whenever i call they say my phone is under repairs ....guys help urself go for nokia or any other brand but not se .

guys dont go for satio this is not a good phone it hangs more often than not .....one day i was recording a video & it got hanged & have to pull my battery out & insert it back to restart it ...so stupid this has happened three times with me...

fvc, 20 Jan 2010If you are more particular about sound quality then go for ... morethanks man. im still reading the reviews between satio and w995. the w995 is not bad at all. almost everyone liked it. good sounds,great 8mp cam, and w/ wi-fi.
as of now im 60% Satio 40% w995.ill buy my new phone on feb 6. i hope i can decide already.hehe

what is the best way to transfer media files onto the satio? i tried with the software but the files dont appear on my phone. When i try with the mass storage option not all files are visible. Somebody please help.

South African Satios rock! I got mine last year in Oct or November, also Vodacom stock & havn't had any major problems. Only standby themes issue, but updated teh software & its sorted. I really love my Satio & I still think its the best phone I ever owned.
Somehow the South African phones seems to work well compared to the UK fones :)

Ok so here's the thing. i'm in South Africa... Kind of got the Satio on an impulse buy... i love Sony Ericssons but had the omnia before this phone. Second Day out the box and it had sofware issues and vodacom here were gonna replace it instead of sorting out the software bugs. did the software upgrade myself and havent had an issue since (except that i cant add new profiles) other than that i think the phone is amazing and has every feature that i would want and need in a phone albeit a little soft (no stereo speakers) and the battery life sucks abit but then again i am a hardcore user and am on my phone 24/7. overall opion? i love it.. get it if you are a sony fan and love the Nokia interface go for the phone!!! most of the software issues are rectified with the latest firmware upgrade...

now i have the 8 gb im my satio but for me is not enough :-))
i'm happy to know that is working with 32 gb m.c and to not freeze or block it
