the satio here in philippines cost around 30,000 peso about 454.66 euros..

Satio is just awesome.Upgraded from C905,full touch screen takes getting used to but once mastered is fantastic.
Fully compatable with all my other Sony products.

I have x1 with 3,2mpix and all my friends jealous for the photo result.. I even use it for some events like simple party because no one brought digi cam at the moment..
SE known have the best camera phone for now..
the other brands with 5mpix etc are just about the number and resolution, but the color and the result is not natural and I can say its not good.. the best result for photo is SE, great source while taking pic, with a little touch of brightness editing makes it as great as digital cam result..
the lacks of satio are too monotone ui and a bit slow, battery life problem, and can't play divX video file..
but some lacks will be better with adding applications..
if your goals are for taking picture alot, music and video.. SE satio is the best phone for you for these day..

Great phone, the combination of fucntions is perfect. No hangs and freezes after the firmware update. But S60V5 lacks productivity and communication software support.
Only complain is that there is no voice dialing and business card scanner which usually comes with previous SE smartphones. Yet to find a 3rd party program that supports the phone.

It is a ditto copy of 5800 Nokia, same OS and size. Camera being 12MP as no difference, only optic zoom is real focusing and image sharpness, than digital zoom which is only like out of speakers can be quoted as max watts but ohms remain the same in music. Think 200$ cell 5800 nokia why pay 3 times price for satio.

Satio is the best SE phone i have had since my previous C905 and although NOKIA can use the ScummVM app, i still prefered a Sony Ericsson phone with S60v5.
I have had no problems with it since i bought it in Oct09 and the battery lasts just as long as my ex C905.
As for the 3.5mm jack people keep MOOOOAAAAANNNNIIIINNNNGGG about. I use Bluetooth headset and it is much easier and tangle free.
SATIO wins for me and thats all that matters ;)

I just use my fon as it is.
When there are applications that are not complicated for me, I use them.
My fon is not hacked either.
But I am happy with it =)

I am a happy Satio user.
I have been looking forward to getting this phone eversince it was announced. But like most of you here, I also had my doubts.
I have gone through a lot of thinking. And decided to buy the phone.
It is not perfect. But so far, the only flaw I could find is it's symbian os. I still wish Sony used their own interface or anything other than what is known for Nokia phones. It may not be as touch sensitive compared to an iphone but its not a big deal, I have an ipod touch. I just want a camera phone bcause i want to be able to take good pictures whenever and wherever with a gadget that i can also use to send sms and make calls.
Reviews on the Camera performance of the Satio showed that Samsung Pixon 12 was better. I have considered getting the Pixon 12 but my only dilemma is its physical design. It looked just like the rest of the Samsung Phone. I mean, if u look at it, there is nothing special but the fact that it has a 12 mp camera capability. Hypocrasy aside, I want to show off my phone. Well, it is an expensive phone. I might as well get a compliment on how beautiful it is. Do u get what I'm saying?
So, I got the Red Satio.
I bought mine Dec. 18, around 3 pm.
It had some battery in it and didnt bother to recharge it. In the evening of the same day, I went out with friends. Took a lot of pictures at the party, 56 to be exact. Plus the calls I have received and made and the sms. I was surprised I had enough battery charge to make through the night that I didnt recharge my phone until noon the next day after I woke up.
I have the phone for more than a month now but i swear I never had any problem with regards to its battery or responsiveness or hanging-up or lags. Much more now that I have updated the firmware.
Oh, I even dropped my phone few days after my purchase..clumsy me.
If one day I'll have some problems with my phone, then I will deal with it. Even new cars break down. Or a laptops or pc. Nothing is perfect.
If you want a Satio, or whatever phone. Think about it first. Then if u ended up getting a faulty one, perhaps u dont deserve it. hehehehe

I have twice Crapsung before and switch my phone and now i have the Satio, i'm really happy with this phone.
Don't give poeple false info about your opinion.
I like more the LCD from Sony Satio than a Crappy Amoled shit from Crapsung.
The speaker from the Satio is just good, i don't need a antike stereo speakers in a phone. use always the headset.
The screen quality is also the best in it's class, way better than any Crapsung Amoled screen.
And so i can talk even more.

1.Resistive touch
2.Not AMOLED screen
3.Sluggish OS
4.No stereo speaker
5.Fingers print everywhere even on phonebody
Pros:
1.Camera (this is the only big deal)

I wanna know if it is good for me to b... moreIm from jordan too. I bought it 3 weeks ago and to tell u the truth i dont reccomend you to buy it coz :
- Battery dsnt last more than 1 day
- texting is not user friendly AT ALL
- speaker phone voulme is really BAD
- it dsnt show the number of the person who send u an sms
- Tele link will tell u you need to update the software to get better battery life and after i did, nothing changed
