Satio is the best phone in the world. Satio is so sexy, more than any women in the tv. Trust me buy the satio and you will fall in love with it.
Customers are very happy and satisfied by their new satio's. Satio is the best seller and the best phone. Don't worry people about negative comments because they are not true.
People just wants the satio to look bad because it looks better than their girl friend.

I am disgrutled, with finger print total plastic Satio or U1. Its priced 700$ of course with RICA O37 dated 29th Nov 09. latest update, in Black.
Its screen resolution on themes symbian is hopeless. Touch is average, interface as Nokia 5800, mamory card 8GB is read as 6.2 GB China made. Pouch is shabby when enclosed with cell too thick as Brick.
Internal mem is 36 mb with basic software.
Forget it Folks heavens not going to fall.

I got this phone free on a talk 500 (second most expensive contract with Vodacom) and i tell you what, I should have taken a Nokia 5800 + Gift vouchers and purchased a digital camera (12 Mega pixels) and I would have had change for a few beers. This phone is exactly like the 5800 without the 12MP camera.

And regarding the negative comments I always said that they are not true and only Moran's keeps saying bad things about the best mobile in the world. I'm really happy that you tried the satio by your self to see how great it is.

Units shipped in the quarter were 14.1 million, an increase of 2% quarter-on-quarter and a decrease of 45% year-on-year. Sales for the quarter were Euro 1,619 million, a sequential decrease of 4% and a year-on-year decrease of 42%. The sequential decline in ASP (Average Selling Price) was due to product mix and continued challenging market conditions.
Gross margin improved sequentially but dropped year-on-year due to lower sales and foreign exchange fluctuations. The sequential improvement was seen in both percentage rate and volume, driven by cost savings actions and successful sales of the W995 Walkman® phone.
Income before taxes for the quarter, excluding restructuring charges, was a loss of Euro 198 million compared to a loss of Euro 283 million from the previous quarter. The reduced loss was due to better gross margin, as well as reduced operating expenses.
“Our business in the third quarter started to show the effects of our ongoing transformation programme. Having refreshed our brand we are now better positioned to support the launch of new products such as Aino™ and Satio™ in Q4 2009. We have cleared channel inventories, and have continued to realign internal resources and improve efficiency. We have also arranged external financing to strengthen the company’s financial position,” said Dick Komiyama, outgoing President, Sony Ericsson. “Transforming the business for future growth and returning Sony Ericsson to profitability is the focus of the senior management team and will continue under the new leadership.”
As of September 30, 2009, Sony Ericsson had a net cash position of Euro 841 million.
Since the beginning of the quarter, facilities of Euro 455 million were signed to strengthen the balance sheet and improve liquidity. Euro 155 million were drawn by the end of September and Euro 100 million were drawn in the beginning of October. In addition, a two-year committed back-up facility of Euro 200 million is available but has not been utilized. The parent companies have guaranteed Euro 350 million of these facilities on a 50/50 basis.
Programmes started since mid 2008 to reduce annual operating expenses by Euro 880 million are continuing, with the full benefit expected during the second half of 2010. The total restructuring charges for these programmes are estimated to be well within the previously announced Euro 500 million.
As of October 15, 2009; Sir Howard Stringer, Chairman, CEO and President of Sony Corporation and a member of the Sony Ericsson board, became Chairman of the Sony Ericsson board succeeding Carl-Henric Svanberg. At the same time, Bert Nordberg became President of Sony Ericsson succeeding Dick Komiyama, who remains as Executive Advisor until the end of 2009.
Sony Ericsson forecasts that the global handset market for 2009 will contract by approximately 10% from around 1,190 million units in 2008. Sony Ericsson estimates that its market share in units was about 5% in the third quarter.

i just bought my red super amazing satio just yesterday dated dec. 22,2009 at 31.7k... no regret so far i loved it very much all the nega comments were not true indeed... those who r planning of buying it i dare u no second thought my frend... the best mobile i had fter k800 and c905.. go satio rock our world.... sony ericsson rocks absolutely!!!!

X10 has not impressed me yet from what ive seen so far y would u need 1ghz in a mobile phone and how long would the battery last? i dont no what they where thinkin whn they released the satio to the public? sony have lost their way?
SONY E ARE BROKE and not relesed a good phone recently THEYVE NOT MADE A PROFIT FOR THE LAST FOUR YEARS GOOGLE IT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best thing I LOVE about Sony Ericsson is their really funky, cool, sleek and sexy designs!! They have the BEST camera quality and music quality!! Smile and Face detection is just AWESOME! Their UI is one of the most AWESOME ever! Like the media menu thing... Everything's so animated and has some really sleek look with such flashy animations!! I really LOVE that!And most of all, their phone weights really light! Not like others whose phones always weight above 150 grams. o.O And their designs are so dull and have some really thick bodies. Their UI is so boring with no animations.. I also like Apple though. But the fact that it's so connected with iTunes and the usual iPhone OS restrictions is such a turn off.. Anyways, I always think SE is really the BEST one out there!!

SE guy yr annoying u dont give any negatives in y comments never i swear you must work for sony e and get payed to come on here satio not best phone in world there is none not even the i phone is best until they get better camera. you cannot buy any phone or satio on its potential how can it have better/faster games in future for satio the i phone has 10000s of people programming for it SE have u even seen the sony apps store its quite sad and like five free apps lol bejeweled that refused to work on my satio lol and you have to hack or do all these downloads just to get facebook and whatever else working? why r sony not using sybian in the super lol X10 i wonder? online its clumbsy the satio looks good and has good camera but thats all really a wanna be smart phone why is it when u get a music file it goes into your message inbox!? very gay to many little problems like other guy said weather u can put up with them up to you poeple?

i got this phone, and i am using this as my primary phone. i can say that it is "good enough" as a phone a "Superb" in camera. i bought this phone even though it has a lot of software bugs because of its camera.. SOFTWARE BUGS CAN BE EASILY FIX BY UPDATE.
I love the phone because of its camera not because it is a phone. LOL, for everything else, i got my ipod touch with me..

SE - outsources their low-end models (S312 W205 K330 etc) to Sagem and produces flagship models (Satio X10 Aino etc) in China. -> SE (Japan-Sweden joint venture) mobilephones are made in China.
