Anonymous, 28 Nov 2009can somebody advise if we can we use /download skype on satio ? Use Nimbuzz..allows voice chat not only to skype bt other IMS as well. Its a free app.... Have fun Dude..!

The Gsm Arena says it all. Phone has been withdrawn from various major UK dealers due to the faults I have been going on about for weeks now but everyone SonyEricsson BRAINWASHED are too scared to admitt.
I loved this phone for the 1st few weeks but that was after having it replaced 5 times.
You basically cant download anything-Themes,pics or Apps because this stupid Symbian v5 is still being worked on and really it belongs to NOKIA so Sony dont have much say.
Apps for this phone are a total joke, Vodafone sold me this phone 5 weeks ago and still no apps store open to download anything.
I am getting rid of this phone and using my old N95 until something on a par with it comes out.
Also is it just me or does everyone picture just come out with everyone looking like RED EYE ALIENS, even adjusting the settings its still poor and flash is very weak.

I experienced some freezing or hanging but when my network set my date service it never happened again so maybe is more on network problem?????

Hey i recently bought this Satio 2 weeks ago and so far did not encounter any problem esp phone lag. Well, dat is normal to all brand and model of the phone. I juz love my SAtio very much and this is the best phone i ever had. Those who likes camera, shd consider this phone. Thinking of getting another one for my dad. Yes!! I love it!

my provider cancelled my satio's contract...they offer me another phones...
I called SE, n they told me that they can't help me...they ask me to wait...n wait..wait..

I own a Satio and let me tell you this phone is a waste, iv had 2 so far and they both crashed around 12 times a day, the phone was rushed and SE hoped people would not notice untill they released the updated firmware, dont waste ur money people!!!....

i bought a satio about a week ago from ebay to use for the u.s. and i am soooooo dissapointed. i can't believe it.
it won't stay on. the battery life is the worse of any phone i have ever seen.
the screen flickers. the battery is rotten. i dont know what to think. i just saw that sony pulled the phone form the major retails in the UK so i am done.
leaving sony...maybe go with the pixon.

Anonymous, 27 Nov 2009take away the 12 MP cam and put it 3MP how many of you woul... moreif they take away the 12 meg cam and put a 3, of course the price should go down and i think the trend of buying will still be the same cos still a lot of consumers prefer of buying mid range units. what you think?

i think we cannot put all the blame to SE in this dilemma we've experienced to this 2 SE units...my understanding is, we should also consider the networks provider vodafon, orange and etc they have also putting some modification to a unit i contract with them in order for a phone to function exactly what their company's they provide to the costumers.why not to try investigating other compay such as philippine-smart, globe, sun cell singapore's singtel, arabian etisalat, qtel, yemen sabafon and so on....did they experience same problem.....pleas people look on the bigger picture...i think this is just a cause of software conflict.

i have owned a satio now for 2 weeks(on vodafone) and absolutely love it.. i have not had 1 problem with it and ive used almost everything on it.. wifi.. gprs.. google maps..camera.. video camera.. games.. texting.. movie player.. music player.. twitter.. facebook.. snaptu etc.. i can tell you i am a bit worried about it going down on me but(fingers crossed)everything has worked perfectly. a work colleague of mine got 1 (2 days before me) and he got all the usual problems with it and sent it back and got a replacement direct from vodafone.. he said it was like going from a mini to a ferrari.. everything was lots faster on the second unit and everything is working 100%.. the only gripe i have on my phone is the battery power.. 1000mah is nowhere nearly powerful enough to keep this baby running for more than 2 days. i got my phone directly from vodafone.

Satio is awesome. I think some batches of the phone is having problem. But otherwise it is fine. I have one for a month now. I'm happy.
