DYL, 25 Oct 2009hello there can anyone tell me is the satio in black colour... moreHi there

The Satio comes in Black, Silver or Bordeaux (red).

I've heard that the silver costs more than the black and red in some places, but that shouldn't be the case for much longer.

Which country is the black currently unavailable in?

nokia spies are not tired to say bullshit about the Satio!
Now after the n95 video is better than your Satio,it's the turn of the 5800 is faster than your satio and of course your Satio cost 600euros while it's 500 everywhere ;)
If they continue their pitty cheap propaganda they will say that the nokia 6110 has a better touch color screen, LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL at nokia cheap spies

Had the phone for 2 weeks now...here is my opinion.
DESIGN..Satio is a cleverly designed handset. Size is just about right for a phone with all the added extras, its 126g, can anyone really tell between this and 90g in a pocket ? side buttons, slider on camera, all well built and designed.
BATTERY.. I have read lots of moans about the battery, what are these people doing..When you get the new phone, leave it OFF, charge until green light comes on and leave another TWO hours without turning on, also spend a few seconds turning off unused apps, I am charging mine every 2 to 3 days, and it gets plenty of use.
CAMERA.. What can I say, its a sony cybershot in my phone, quality, speed, best pic, smile recognition, etc etc...Simply superb.
GPS..Used it a few times and find it fast and accurate, much more so than my previous Nokia N95. Google maps is basic but works very well.
INTERNET..Where I live I have no 3G, just used it to watch BBC i player and the speed is perfect, sat in coffe shop and used thier wifi, it is fast and easy to use, in full screen mode watching TV or web is a delight.
SCREEN..My first touchscreen, I have no complaints at all, it does what it says on the box, sharp and accurate.
APPS.. There are a few already in phone, including Vodafone apps, sadly some of the Vodafone apps are not up and running yet, come on Vodafone !!!
MUSIC.. what else would you expect from a sony walkman in your phone !...excellent. People moaning about no 3.5mm jack...come on, the set has a sony jack with a 3.5mm socket in...anyway, get a blutooth set of headphones and enjoy with no wires...
OVERALL... Build quality very good, screen bright and responsive, battey is good for a handset of this type, I have got used to it now and love it, I would recommend this phone to anyone, compared with my mates new i phone, very similar, but this wins hands down with the 12meg camera and music entertainment...
                Cheers.

Anonymous, 24 Oct 2009do this have a PDF, a quickoffice perhaps? tnxI currently purchased the new Satio on Vodafone, the phone does have PDF and QuickOffice, but it is shipped as trial app's for which you have to pay for.

I might be best to download and install seperately.

The things that does disappoint me about this fone is the battery life, very poor for the use in which the phone is designed. You may find you run out of RAM when switching between memory hogging apps n have to reboot the phone. Last but not least very slow traversing menu's and apps.

The positives about this phone are the camera very good quality, and quick, takes the photo straight away instead of waiting 3 secs. The recursive screen is good, especially the full screen qwerty. Fast internet, I am able to stream with no issues from iplayer, and youtube.

I have now had the Satio for 10 days and I have not found any fault with it! The only thing that I find missing is a multi touch screen but I can live with that! What do you all want? This phone is one impressive phone and wipes the iphone off the market!

                                        Hallo All,
Sony ericsson Satio is now in shops in Holland.
I was testing the phone but the touch on the phone is not what i expected, a little bit slower than nokia 5800, the only good thing is the camera and the look of the phone. The phone costs here 600 euro, too mutch. You can better get nokia97 or wait for nokia x6.I think it will be better than satio, not the camera. I waited so long for satio and now i´m disapointed. Test the phone first before you by it.
                                        Good luck everybody
