Yes it is because it has Exmor R technology for low light conditions.
So even in low light situations you will be able to take good pictures. And in daylight it takes amazing pictures so no worries at all.
And let's not forget the Arc has HD video recording! compared to only WVGA recording for satio.

today i went to sony ericsson show room in ranchi.It's price is rs. 23000.so better to go for n8.n8 has lots of fantastic feature.
