Hello guys I m having this phone for 1yr and 7 months for singtel contract in singapore..Really a nice phone and in 3 months I m going to upgrade my phone to xperia pro.I have to say that this phone is really a nice and xtrodinary multimedia smartphone.It gave me all the functions that I need,Internet browsing excellent,camera one of the best,video recording is fair as it is not HD,touch screen is good although it is resistive,music clarity awesome with given earphones,document viewer is good as I can view almost any documents and most of all its a good phone and of course its built in apps,youtube,facebook,twitter,quick office and picture editor were good..Overall a very good phone

wangerbanger, 14 Mar 2011When I send threw bluetooth it svaes into the IN-Box but wh... morego to messages, right click on options, settings,other, memory in use. Select E:, which is ur memory card. this problem happens because ur inbox and ur phone memory is full!!

When I send threw bluetooth it svaes into the IN-Box but when I go to save it says 'out of memory delete some files' Yet I have a Memory card which is no were near out of memory. Bit of help would be good. Thanyou

As a user of satio,I recommend to all of you who attempt to buy satio,DON'T BUY THIS PHONE.
Why do you want to buy a nearly 2 years old phone while there are better choices out there?If you have budget,go for other Android phones or Nokia N8 if you want a better camera instead.Otherwise,go for Nokia C6-01 or C7 which featured Symbian^3 if you can't afford high-end phones.
It has very few apps or games to play with and you may get bored with it soon.Please,DON'T DO ANYTHING THAT WILL MAKE YOURSELF REGRET FOR IT.

I've had my Satio for 18 months now, I had it within the first week of release, primarily because the camera was so good and my own digital camera had recently broken. My reasoning was "two birds with one stone". The battery life is relatively poor, if you text regularly or use the internet, you'll average out at 24 hours-worth of battery. The touch screen isn't that sensitive, it detects my nails better than my actual fingertips. When I first had it, it regularly froze, switched itself off etc, but after a software update from the official Sony Ericsson website, it was a lot better.
The screen will automatically switch off after a certain period of time (user-defined) and there is no way to keep it on at any point. There is however, a handy light on the top of the phone which flashes green to alert you to any missed calls or text messages.
The user interface is relatively easy, and the internet browsing is pretty standard. It isn't as good as newer phones like the HTC Desire, but that is understandable due to the improvements in mobile internet in the past 2 years.
It took a while for a Facebook app to be added to the phone and that came along with the software update, as did the "conversation" tool for text messages (similar to iPhone structure i.e. your texts appear as a conversation rather than flicking between the inbox and sentbox). However, the Facebook app is rather lacking, I've seen much better versions on other phones, including Nokias that were released at the same time as this phone.
I find the fact that it doesn't have a proper headphone jack a tad annoying, it's still the SE's own jack for the hands-free kit. Very cumbersome.
On a positive note, the camera is excellent, although a bit slow to take photos, the quality is fantastic, even in low light.
Personally, if I was shopping for a phone now, I wouldn't get this because it is quite out of date, and not one of SE's best designs. I'm probably getting a HTC Desire Z next week when my phone contract is due for renewal! I would like to wait for the SE Xperia Pro - but I'm mildly concerned that model will be similar to the Satio...very promising, but a let down when actually released.

this is totally fake, saying battry stand by time.....it even can run for a day if you take 1 hr twice in a day...... its having battry problem, practically seen..... function is average not that great.....better go for N8 nokia

all phones from sony ericsson are sucks .they don't have any efficiency ..so please don't buy any sony ericsson phone it give u big headache...buy apple or nokia it is good option ..
