Does anyone know when this phone will be released in Australia? The only place i can find it on is online and i have been searching/calling everywhere.. If you know anything, please reply.

No Xvid support
Means 99% clips/vids have no support?????

No MiniUSB come on SE get with the program.
Samsung has all this covered with 3x optical zoom right now.

You do not understand - SE createas the need :)))))
Who needs a 12mp camera with a limited lens, and sensor.
It has high resolution but all other aspects are not at the 12mp level.
and you do not need a 12mp resolution since you will not print posters. Max A4 or 8.5˝x11˝
So it is all created need and hype.
It wold be better to have better lens, better sensor 5 or 8 mp.
No wonder people still think N82 was and is the best camery phone. (old model)
Cheap parts with buffed up specs.
Buy a 500W amplifier for 100USD. :)))
I prefer the 60W with low THD etc. for 2000USD.
Quality versus USELESS quatity like 12mp camera phone.

I think people who buy this phone make a statement:
- no technical background
unable to understand the inferiority of TFT vs. OLED
lack of internal memory
lousy battery
- support a corporation that
keeps overpricing its models
keeps delaying its models
have horrible customer service
resist strandards (3.5mm jack)
unwilling to release tech data
floods its customers with hype
´unlimited entertainment´etc. :))))
On this model everything is limited and/or outdated!!!!
OLD Viewty clone - design recycled and sold as new but the mean time LG moved on.

Anyone know if this phone has better sunlight legibility that the Omnia 2 ?
Will it support document editing ?
Planning on getting an omnia but might wait and compare since the Satio will be released soon.

Sony Ericsson is not for business people no features, small LCD and touch sensor is not very well, battery is weak too.
Sony Ericsson must design phones which are also for business people with microsoft application/ third party application can be installed on phone something similar to iphone, must have features like Blackberry PIN too, BB messenger, MSN /AOL/ ICQ/ Skype etc features should be added to the model. Camera Resolutions are good but we need more features so that everyone love to use it, Dont make thick phones like Cordless phones.
We hope sony Ericsson can come up with latest phones with business fetures as what i mentioned above.
Wish you all the best, i have wrote several Email to designers of Sony Ericsson and the Company in Sweden, but it seems they dont care. Hope they understand what people want. Cheers every body .brb

if you want to compare this with the omnia hd then the only thing better is the camera since the omnia hd has 8/16gb internal this one has 128MB. now this, omnia hd and iphone has the same cpu and graphics.

12mp camera: awesome
touchscreen: Heard it's the best resistive around
multimedia functionally: looks amazing!
this is without a doubt my next phone. no 3.5, no big deal, i'd rather use headphones specifically designed for my phone anyways. it's alot of money yes, but i make minimum wage and can afford it. sorry if your parents won't buy it for you quit whining. there are plenty of phones i like but i don't think people should compare them, different strokes for different folks. cant wait for a USA release.

And the Omnia HD has much lesser features than this. This has a way more sleek and cool design and the user interface is much much better too especially the media thing.. The omnia looks like a china phone and ui is kinda boring.. It may have HD recording but it doesnt really have good quality. The Satio has no HD quality but its quality is definitley amazing.
