I have been waiting for the release of the Satio for some time, do I have the iphone or Satio. Spec for Spec they are close contenders, what will sway you will be the multi touch screen, 3.5mm jack, usb and internal memory on the iphone or the Hot swap SD memory, 12Mb Cam, the ability to run java apps and the replacable battery on the Satio. The rest of the Specs conter each other out!

hi all
i was wondering why many people are angry about the phone price that is too high.
and always blame sony ericsson to be over priced.
isn't iphone very expensive , isn't N 97 ery expensive at least in my country.
all phones that are in the same category will be that expensive.
for myself i don't think to buy this phone nor the iphone because they are only touchscreens and if something happened to the screen the phone will not be usable.
yes i do like sony ericsson phones but also there are other good phones from nokia, and also i think iphone is very great one but may be not suitable for me.
so please stop quarelling about companies se and nokia and samsung.
these companies won't give you an award for you

Yeaaah, the Satio is available, I can't wait to get my hands to this super smartphone! This phone is the first 12MP camera smartphone! I hope the phone will be SE's biggest sucsess!!! :)Sony Ericsson ROCKS!

I loved the phone until I've spotted the proprietary handsfree/charger/usb connector. I hate it. It is the worst ever. After a couple of months of usage, it will start to fail and it won't keep anything in. Not to mention U can't use the data cable, usb and the charger connected all in the same time. I've had 2 SE phones with the same connector and both started to fail after about 2-3 months (I am a heavy user because I love music). If SE would start using the standard jack and usb connectors, they would make great phones.

Very good, finally a good SE phone. It's really good with a camera like that and other features, indeed it's almost as good as the samsung omnia HD. Well, I just wonder what Samsung's going to release. :)

They're doing the same thing that Nokia used to do ~5-8 years ago! Releasing overpriced phones based on similar platforms in different but almost identical(!) designs with different names! Looks like Nokia is doing what SE was doing years ago, leaving us few more reasonable chances.

That stupid camera aside, what is so special about this ordinary phone (based on today's standards) that makes it an incredibly expensive phone?! Just look at the number of votes! ~42000!! and around 4 million hits! This proves in what a stupid world we live!

I like the technical spec. and it works well. Not too sure about the prices people are quoting though but if true I think it's too much. Have much to say about their marketting but maybe not here.lol
