this phone is all plastic, just the camera is very good and has a nice screen.
want install free GPS software?, not possible.not compatible with OVI maps.
i instslled a calculator, didnt work.problem with license.
skype works but not perfectly like my nokia.
with WIFI, i got "gateaway no reply", when my nokia connect everywhere i go.
600$ phone?, what a joke.
then u need special headphone, not standard 3.5 plug.
charger the same, sony charger.nokia is everywhere.
browsing internet?, nothing special, the iphone is the best for internet surfing.
it s a good phone for the one who want a good camera. but i would put more money and buy a n8 for the free GPS, or an android and get IGO.

If you want to buy only for camera then you can buy satio, remember it's battery is very poor you can't take 100 pictures in one charge, besides n8 battery is really good, touch quality is owsum. If you want to buy over all a good phone you should buy n8.

Satio has a bigger,higher res screen, a far better camera( with autofocus ) and runs a true smart operating system. Satio has a better hardware than the iphone.

I love SE..satio is good and better than others.u can capture every moments with awesome image quality every where u are and what u do.I vote it!

Nagyon szeretem Soni Ercsson Satio telefonomat.60 évesen keveset tudom kihasználni.Egy bajom van vele hiába van benne 16GB memoria kártya, média- modositások-képszerkesztés-opciok-Effekt.-kiválasztás és nincs tovább!!!!!ha kiveszem a memoria kártyát akkor müködik.Idegesitő

I have always wanted Sony to get out of this partnership with Ericsson.
It's not working out at all...
Ericsson does nothing but complicate the things for Sony.
Due to SE being a joint venture, Sony's communication with SE is almost null. Sony hardly gives permission to use their technology in SE phones. Morover the headquarters, research facilities, manufacturing units, management of sony & se r located at diff. places making their communication with each other almost impossible. Even the engineers in SE r not the ones which work for Sony.
SE is working as a completely separate entity & getting nothing from sony.
If the mobile department had been 100% sony's part situated at their headquarters in Tokyo than sony's mobile phones would have been the top selling devices in the market due to latest tech implementations from sony & sony would have put much more money into it's mobile division without fearing abt any kind of loss.

Phone is good b... moreHi, Am also having Sony Ericsson Satio and I have experienced the same issue, but when I realised it's happening becuase when multi applications are running at the same time. So, please check and exit the running applications so that you can save battery. For me it's the best phone so far I had and I recommend to go for it. :p

I have drooled over this phone for so long. But, now I don't think I like it so much since Sony has pulled it's plug out of Symbian support.Still looks super nice though.

Phone is good b... morehey. i took mine in to the outlet i got it from yesterday an they told me its covered under a 2yr warranty as per my contract an are repairin it under the warranty for me. you should try the same, you never know. good luck :)
