I am currently using the Satio along with my brother using N8..although N8 is the latest technology but Satio being a year old in technology is not bad either...although the price shud be lowered down...the camera is amazing with Xenon flash doing a gud job in close photo sessions during night...i have hacked my phone and after using Raafats Kokomoro Mod 0.4 the sound level has increased 40%...Video recording and playback is amazing...although not HD but who needs HD since i saw in N8 a capture of 2 mins took away approx 200MB space...the only problem i saw is the standby time even if u dont use the phone but it still keeps on draining the battery...i saw that the following timings:
Standby: 60 Hrs
Talktime(2G): 5 Hrs
Talktime(3G): 3 Hrs
MP3 Time: 15 Hrs
Video(H.264) Playback: 5 Hrs
So if u use the phone a lot it would drain the battery by the end of the day...Hmmm i neeed Kinetic Scrolling as well...its missing...GSMARENA should provide us with functions like Kinetic Scrolling availability in a phone as well...
Rest hacking the phone is a lot easier now since i have understood the steps and its lot easier than using 3rd party tools... the Sony Ericsson Update utility can be used by keeping the files offline...making the task a lot faster...
But i have bought the phone in around 15000 Indian Rupees so in this amount no phone can beat Satio...I thank my friend who helped me buying this phone from someone he knew...i saved approx 9000 against N8 i was thinking to buy...
Although N8 is the King of All but Satio is next to the King....

Any idea how can I copy the posts received thru WhatsApp using the Satio???
Also wondering why SE have stopped Satio's Users from accessing thier applications sits such as PalyNow??? I can understand OVI Nokia doing this but not SE!!! We have accepted that there is no upgrade but why we can't download applications using Satio???
My advice to those who are planning to buy Satio not to do it becouse it became illegitimate Phone!!!!!

Battery life is excellent,but you have to update your software...My battery lasts 3 days average with a single charge...Before I updated my software,the battery was poor and it really could drain in a day,but now it's totally different story...

bought this phone a month ago. it's a good phone. especially camera shots. i use my phone to capture beautiful scenes =) yeap. although i love this phone but i have to say it battery life isnt that good. although u didnt touch ur phone as it in standby mode battery will suck up too. and it isnt quite suit user who play internet alot. heeh =)

max phone, i am using now, for me charge will stay more than 8hrs, its enough for me, phone is fully touch and colorfulness, battery wont stay 24hrs, bullshit, but video is really fucked up, its amazed HD quality

I brought it, it's great. I got a free memory card, so all MP3 fits nicely, and combined with the excellent media-player style interface and good quality headphones, this is good for music. The battery needs nightly charging though. The camera's immense!

i used satio for 8 months! It'a good camera phone, it almost beat digicams, but the xenon flash only works in close up mode and even if you turn on the red eye reduc still it does not do it well, the light exposure do not do well also, but all in all the phone provides a good picture quality, as for the video, even for WVGA result, it renders good quality output the only problem is that the audio is so quite even if you shout, it somewhat the mic can't handle it well. the built of the satio is good, stylish and bulky for a smartphone, but because of it's plastic body the paint starts to crash, especially on the lock key on the left part. The headset is superb, but not the speaker grill, but still it is loud and clear. the main problem of the phone is when you start internet, it's slow and it hangs...lots of lag...i guess what make's it expensive from nokia N8(that i recently bought) is that SE bought the symbian software to be the OS of this phone. No update available for this phone, only once i remember. but if you only do camera and video to watch for normal mp4 this phone is good...i also forgot to mention, the battery life of this phone, is not good as well!!! it nearly drop for just one day, and too much use of internet, yeah, it really drops and even drain!

In fact I stopped taking books out of the library, I just go in with the phone, shoot the pages and then view them on the PC.
Now you may ask why the flash is used instead of the document mode. Well that is because the satio tends to prefer low ISO's but high exposure timings and hence the handshaking may cause blurring of the pics. Turn the flash on and due to the quick nature of xenon flash, low exposure times are used. Hence minimal blur. The phone has an average shot to shot speed of 3 seconds and you can shoot a 100 pages in 5-6 minutes.

I had this phone for 9 mount i used to charge it twice or at most 3 times a week it isn't as bad as they say it is!!!I used to like it a lot and i didn't have any problem with it.

This fone is Perfect...with a touch of some great third party applications ..and there you go..although it's tru that the battery is not that good.. hey guys...S.E is releasing another new phone..S.E Xperia Arc...whew..hope to buy that ..tsk!
