        Arak, 07 Aug 2009SE is still in trouble and have lost lots of money lately ,... moreIf you were following electronic gadgets for 30 years then you must be aware that the actual production cost is much much less than what the manufacturers are charging. We only ask for things that are already available and if the manufacturers wish, they can provide us without increasing the price much. If there are phones available with those features for $700-800 then what's wrong in asking for them? HD video, 12mp cam, high speed cpu didn't made a phone cost double. You will see people complain here because SE is not giving those options and when they do, they are charging way to much. I'm surprised that some people think Samsung is cheap, because they can provide all those goodies in relatively less price than it's competitor.
        GPS is becoming standard for high-end phones. Phones are coming up with 12mp camera, OLED screen, High capacity internal storage, battery and all. No matter we use it or not, manufacturers are adding it. You can not ask them to stop it and pay less for the rest of the features. Do you? If we have to pay high price, we would like to have as much as possible. That's how I think it is.

            I have hd video recording on my mobile, and I want to watch my hd movie I just made on my 60 inches HDTV. (I can't see the difference between hd and CIF video quality on my 3.7 inches screen). But the tv-output only transfers SD. To bad my PC is out of order.

                  Although you are over forty , so you must be out of shape - and it shows.


                  You know: we do not want ot carry a digital camera and camcorder all the time.
                  And once in a while a cell phone can do a relatively good job. Not as good as dedicated equipment but good if you get the right phone.

                  So that is the whole point.
                  If HD is available we want HD
                  If OLED is available we want OLEd
                  if 16GB internal available we want 16-32 GB.

                  And Idou its lousy specs just not good enough anymore.

                  Unless it will be 200-300 USD. But, even then I do not want to carry an outdated phone!

                        Hey people, chill ok.. y are some of u debate for a small issue. Nowadays all phone looks the same. The function are mostly plus minus the same. U cant compare this brand with this brand. They have their own speacility. If u want the phone to have this and that, then go and have ur own handphone brand, create one and see whether is it easy or not to attend to all consumer needs. Pls eh.. find a life . Peace

                                But we all are homo ludens (what does it mean anyway?), that would never satisfy of what we have. Today we're crying for 3.5mm jack, later maybe we'll ask for 600 watt PMPO external speakers, 250 Gb internal memory, 20000mAh battery, 60 inches holographic screen, flawless carbon fibre material case, etc etc, after we get all of those things, we keep begging for something else that lacks in our devices.

                                  SE is still in trouble and have lost lots of money lately , but the company did not stop to produce good phones with good specifications .
                                  we sometimes ask so many things from a mobile phone which the mass will never use in reality , , how many people really use the GPS ?? and how many really do care for 3.5mm jack ? i have followed the electronoc market for the last 30 years and beleive me things will change in time and new jacks and new ideas will emerge that will disqualify our comments in one day ....
                                  many ask for 3.5mm jack , but now you can use the blue tooth if you really care for advance technology.
                                  as for the camera and video , if someone has 700 usd to spend on the phone then he can purchase a 500 usd video camera which can make HD without trouble.
                                  the idea is that what do you expect from a mobile phone of 600 to 800 USD to offer , GPS mobile communication , organizer , quality camera , e mail browser , wi fi ,, come on we are getting spoiled and asking so much for that price tag from a mobile , , i assume that if you want a mobile to deliver a high quality camera and video and super GPS then the price to be around 2000 USD , , just consider how much a real GPS and video camera could cost..
                                  let us be practical and stop be illogical about a mobile phone device in the current available technology and market situation , ,
                                  I beleive that the mobile indutry will saturate like the other electronic segments too , and there will be one day that all the companies will deliver the same since there want be anything more to deliver
