Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Yes samsung is great and is gonna be the number one from next year or like sony does back in 80's to 90's because the Yen is too expansive compared to the cheap won and taiwanese as well are gonna rule the market sony will be like B&O or something like that to survive but even if the Satio is in trouble with the player HD/pixon12 ( like C905 vs inov8/pixon) the best oponent to this phone remain the Satio (what else hero ? Iphone ? N97 ? no bad jokes please)
The concept is dated on 2007 (N95) but the phone isn't outdated thx to the multimedia the vivid screen the OS Flash enable upgradable and fast but because it have sony in it's name if it's not the best it's the worst (like Apple but not American=trouble)

That's just ridiculous "has"... more1) SE S001 has 3.3 inch AMOLED screen.
2) Satio is a smartphone while Pixon 12 is not, that does give it an edge over the Pixon 12, which I'm sure you cannot deny.
3) I'm not sure how you know, with certainty, that the Pixxon 12 quality is better than the Satio as the Satio has no retail version yet - there's still time for improvements to be made. The same thing happened with C905 last year, improvements were found in the retail version.
Samsung is good, the Omnia HD superb, but the Satio still remains unique to date, i.e., that it's the only 12.1 MP Cybershot smartphone around - it deserves credit, regardless which side of the fence you might find yourself :)

I mean I agree with some spec of Satio that you mentioned, but not these ones: 1000mAh battery and 128 MB internal memory. They haven't been confirmed yet officially by SE. And as if you always asking such official sources or specifications here, don't make any comments of specs that not coming from Sony Ericsson. What's been written in gsmarena about the battery and internal memory are not official.

sony ericsson is totally cant make it.. since years it take so long to release a phone.. better keep those in ur old grandma blanket till the date of release..

i would to tell you about amoled screen that it has limited life, the quality will be decreased around in 3 years, yes samsung use the amoled.
but as a SE fan iam very glad that sony create new generation of amoled screen type
if you dont believe me, pls google it...

i believe sony is the best in term of quality but unfotunately their phone arent up to date and their features is outdated in most cases while their price is high.
i think its better that sony offers some full toch phones with proper prices even with ordinary features.
nowadays samsung and lg even nokia are ofeering many full touch models with good prices.
c901 and w902 and so on arent very attractive in comparison with full touch phones.
i am a se fan and want tobuy a full touch phone but unfortunately there isnt any model in se products expect for upcoming satio which will very expansive.
sony please somewhat regard your clients demands.

After watching one of the recent reviews on youtube, I think they should rewrite some of their UI interface with regards to the qwerty keyboard. While holding the phone upright the the options for typing should include either the mini qwerty or the keypad while turning the phone to the side should register the phone to automatically switch over to the full qwerty since the phone has accelerometer capabilities.
Granted it would be similar to the iphone however with all of the comparisons out there, I think that would help the Satio become even more of a well balanced full entertainment multimedia phone.
Anyone else agree?
