i know because you want a... moreFirst of all Satio doesn't support 32gb card. upto 16gb only.
Secondly the point is not to spend more money in buying memory cards. 8gb is included as they say, but I doubt that will be the case for every country.
It's always good to have internal as well as expandable memory. 128mb is way too 'limited' for "Entertainment Unlimited". IMO it should be at least 1gb/2gb internal memory with option for memory card for all high-end phones. I don't think Satio will hang because of 1gb internal memory. Its hardware is quite capable of handling that. Cheers!!

But, the key is that you and anybody can use and enjoy Omnia HD while Idou is just a picture on the net!
Fans can drool all day long but can not even make a single call with it! :)))
So, even if Idou would have better specs it would be useless!

But, what makes their argument even more childish is that the specs are worst than the already released Omnia HD´s.

pleease go and bye a 16/32 GB micro SD memory and put it in satio

Anonymous, 22 Jul 2009It's quite smart to compare phones to future phones, and th... morehmm yeah, funny thing is you can record HD footage for longer on a omnia HD than VGA on a idou because the idou basically has no memory unless you put in a memory card. on the omnia HD, there is internal memory and a card slot so either way you look at it, the omnia HD has more space.
oh, and they fixed the sound in the HD's videos through a firmware update.
so i guess the omnia HD is triumphant again?

I never said that I didn't like the HD, I was going to buy it but changed my mind and bought an iPhone, cus here in America buying an unlocked phone costs way too much (bought a nokia n95 8gb unlocked and it was $800 :-/), and plus this is a sonny Ericsson (idou) forum so having to talk about how good the HD is compared to a phone that isn't out yet is quite useless. But whatever, everyone has different opinions about what they want in a phone and what they want to phone to look like. Maybe we'll get a better phone from Sony Ericsson if no one buys this phone so that Sony can take over

Your critic is for the fans here who compare past or current models to future (a year away) models.
By the time of release, other will make also new models.
If you do not like HD - forget it :))))
The sound is great and has been fixed some time ago!

12mp pictures can be displayed on Idou? :))))
HD movies can be transfered and some of us use HD monitors and TVs - :))))))

NOT 12... moreWho wouldn't want a phone with 16GB+ internally memory? as of now there are only four phones with 16gb+ of internally memory and that's the iPhone 2g/3g/3gs and nokia n97, so where are the rest? Future phones have been rumored but do not mention more than 512mb of internal memory but do have an expansion slot, and my future (so far) are htc's phones, which are all windows mobile :-/.
Yea anything less than 16gb is a joke though

So by what phone should we stop comparing, a 3010 year phone? There is no phone that gets announced and released at the same time, not even apple did that, and they released the phone a month or two later which so far has not been done by other manufacturers, but whatever people will still complain about any small detail of a phone. You can go ahead and film a 720p video with crappy audio and play it back on your phone, but, oh wait you can't cus there is no phone that has 1200 x 720 screen resolution, better yet go film a 10 min video cus the omina HD has 32gb of internal memory.

By the time of release, you have no idea how many phones will have 16GB or 32GB internal memory!
So let´s stick with 16GB :))

I find it absolutely ........ that some people here compare released phones to unreleased (SE) phones.
I think it is reasonable to compare already available phones or compare future models which will be released at the same time.
It is unfair and not practical.
Obviously, future models should have better features an specs (same price range), but current model can be used the other one is only on paper.
SE always announces the models ahead and they look good (except Idou) but the time of release others make the same or better models.
Omnia HD was announced the same time, and it has been available for long time now! You can enjoy it.
Idou is nowhere. The specs are not even available!
No point to compare.
You can buy and use Omnia HD, Idou is in the future somewhere.

There os no other phone that has that much storage. Secondly, there is only one device that truly offers HD recording and that's the Samsung HD, so how is this phone going to be outdated by then?? If a new phone is announced, by when do you think that phone will be released, the following day??!

It will be outdated anyway by the time of release:
- TFT instead of OLED screen
- 128Mb internal memory instead of 32GB
- 1000mAh battery instead of 1500mAh
- VGA video instead of HD
Idou got nothing useful to offer!

I think some sites said that the satio was coming out in september 28, which is pretty much an October release :/. Seeing how Sony Ericsson's previous release dates, this phone might turn put to be a black Friday or Xmas release :(.

If you have any of this problems please feedback directly to Sony Ericsson. No one is perfect in this world. I believe they will do their best, unless you had really damage your phone yourself. I've been a satisfied user of Sony Ericsson for three years now. Its a Japanese & Swedish brand. And I trust only Sony. Like no other.
