What I can see clearly visible of using more megapixels at this comparison (8mp vs 12mp) is while both of them are using same quality sensors, 12mp will produces more noises than 8mp (the grey color of the roof's entry gates told this).
I don't care if Satio is still being a prototype. But the sharper result of Omnia HD (I can see it obviously from the trees' pic) had shown me that Satio's camera needs more improvements. SE, you hear me, don't u?

Since there are so much talk going on about it's camera performance and it's comparison with Omnia HD (which is in fact 8mp). I have decided to create a 100% crop from GSMarena samples. I wont give any judgment. I hope you guys could come up with honest opinion.

I don't remember seeing you here, so chances are you might not have any idea that this are all old issues. It's extremely disappointing to see some insulting words coming out from a 'sane' person. I would try to make myself clear. If still you think I'm being stubborn then be it. I think the other way around.
I'm sorry about the typo in my earlier post. It should be red mAh instead of MHz for battery.
I know what fan means. I have no problem people claiming SE is the best for them. Or SE rocks or so and so. What I found disturbing is when they try to drag other manufacturers and without any logic say negative things to glorify their beloved brand.
As long as you do that, there will be reaction, there will be some post to counter that. It happens in every site and every forum. You have to learn to live with it. If I like samsung it doesn't mean I will say bad things about a "good" product from other manufacturers. I believe I post constructive criticism, not outright bashing like you are.
As somebody already posted and each and every person who is has little sense will agree that Satio is not finished product yet. Hence it is not the right time to reach to any conclusion that it's got better pic or cam or sound quality. I only replied to someone who said Satio will have better video than HD. I have only replied to someone who said satio got best image quality. I have only corrected them saying at this stage the camera quality is not good yet. They gonna have to fix it, so don't claim it's best. If you people can't accept that, that is called being stubborn.
No matter whatever you say or believe, it's a fact that AMOLED is the future, it's way way batter than TFT. It consumes less battery, it has a wider viewing angle. If you are happy with TFT, that's fine. But ignoring a scientifically proven fact is again being stubborn. You have asked me what's better in HD. So I mentioned it. A TFT display under no circumstances will be a match for AMOLED display.
About Camera quality, I don't think you have seen my post here. I have posted two links taken from GSMarea itself, shot at the same location tough different time. You are comparing Satio with Innvo8 which is 8mp. I have mentioned Satio's image quality is poor FOR A 12MP. There is a review done for PIXON 12. Try comparing those images and you will see (if you are not blind of course) that Satio needs improvement. The detail level is not up to the mark for a 12mp. Here have a look at the links and you will have some idea. Check the hills and the small houses on the right side, Satio got them all washed out.
Again I would say I'm not reaching any conclusion as Satio is prototype. But to my surprise you have already gave your judgment.

Exmor. Do you have any idea what we all were talking about in last 5 months? Suddenly you popped out of nowhere and saying you don't need exmor. All these 5 months each and every SE fans CLAIMED and dreamed of having exmor in IDOU. Now that it's not happening suddenly they have changed their attitude and saying it's fine not to have it.
If you don't need HD video, that's a different matter all together. But that will never mean VGA is better than HD or Satio's video quality will be better than HD's. You are quoting GSMarea for camera review. How come you missed what they said about the video quality. Do I have to right it again? "Omnia HD's video capability still remain unsurpassed". I have only replied to someone who said Satio will have better video than Omnia HD.
By the way do you know that SE fans initially claimed that IDOU will have not just 720p HD, but FULL HD capability. Do you have any idea what they have said that time? I guess not.
I'm not frustrated with internal memory. I know it will come with 8gb card. However I don't know why it hurts so much to you to ask for more. Can you ignore the fact that most top end multimedia smart phones are coming equipped with internal memory? Of course there is a reason for that. Some people argued that internal memory makes the phone slow. Now here in case of Satio it has enough cpu capacity to handle 8gb or more. I'm not trying to make a strong point here, but it would have been better with more internal memory. After all it's labeled as "Entertainment Unlimited". Same goes for battery. A TFT eats more power, and it has xenon flash. So it make perfect sense to ask for more battery. If you are happy with 1000mAh, well I have nothing to say. But to me I thought it would be perfect if it comes with higher capacity battery. Again I mentioned it cause you didn't know where Satio lags from HD. We don't know about the price, but I'm sure you will not pay less for it's 128mb memory or the 1000mAh battery.
I didn't even bother to mention non-existence of standard 3.5mm jack or xvid/divx support. I know you will say you don't need it. Fine. But what will you say about the Rachael coming with 3.5mm then? It's always good for us, the end-users to have these standard features.

This is a good devive except the lack of 3.5mm jack. Will this phone support the .xvid or .divx? If it doesn't come out of the box then it will be a shame,as it's a s60 v5 its not possible to install any 3rd party appl like Core player or so. This UI is still immature. SE should announce the Xperia Rachael now. Btw-Anyone have any idea how much the Satio will cost?

i am a huge fan of SE Phones and i am currently using the best phone that they have made in my opion which is the c905.
I cant wait for all three phones to come out. I will use my wifes upgrade to get the Anio and i cant wait for the Satio as the specs look amazing. Anything that SE touch turns to gold. Also i spoke with someone in the know at SE this morning and in the pipeline is a C906 in the works. I presume that it'll be an updated version of the c905 with a 12mp camera also cant wait for that. BRING ON THE SATIO SE PLEASE I CANT WAIT.

If the camera with xenon is poor what about the innov8 one ?
The phone does not lag, this is bullsh***ng because many video's shown it...
OK for the memory Amoled technology and video recording , w&s for the sound quality but because it's a SE I'm not worried about the sound quality :) and yes the omnia hd sound is not a match against the W995 one tested and aprouved by my friends (one of them is a samsung lover).
Why do you worrie about the battery it's a SE and so the battery will be good...
The phone will pack more things available inside + updates + the Appstore...
IT IS NOT SE'S FLAGSHIP but the first all in one fulltouch phone coming after the W995 first all in one from the firm and it is a SUCCESS !!!

I am really sorry satio... I not gonna buy u... I will buy xperia racheal... because of it's design, screen, White colour, cpu and the most importantly it's android... a phone having great screen resulotion with android...
se u hav made a great mistake.. those people who were thinking to buy satio will not buy it... because u hav produced more stronger phone than satio... xperia Racheal...
one thing more... by putting android in second xperia... se proved that window mobile r soon to be died... they r finished... & this is just starting...
