I support... moreI meant the war between fanboys, they're both different phones with different features. Sadly these phones will be compared repeatedly because they are both ground-breaking multimedia phones, Samsung or Se fanboy I don't care, they both are brilliant, yes I prefer the Idou, but for goodness sake!
Samsung has HD Video recording and Touchwiz.
Sony Ericcson has 12 Megapixel Camera and Walkman.
They aren't perfect, but no phone is!!! I love the Idou and I respect the Omnia HD. Both companies have outdone themselves and I really hope they continue raising the standards.
Long live Samsung.

Actually there is no war with any one , every company has a strategy and target ,, se phones have different feelings and crowd and same with other manufactureres.

Anonymous, 31 May 2009It is not true that the calling sounds is bad.. it is actua... moreI have read some reviews and GSMArena's latest preview, and GSM said the glossy plastic is "below par." According to another review, the audio quality on video recording is ok, but they could have improved it a lot. I read that the phoning sound quality was below par in a preview somewhere, but if Samsung have changed that, I apologise.
The main problems are:
-Video recording audio quality
-Its dead if you drop it thanks to the plastic
-No lens cover
-Bad audio when calling someone*
-Interface is good, but quite bad in places*
-Have to double tap items in menus sometimes
-Expensive
-No pre-loaded GPS Software*
*Samsung may have changed this in retail version!
I'll admit the Omnia HD is a wonderful multimedia phone and it has many things going for it, but it also has flaws. The main strengths if the phone are multimedia, but you've got to remember that Sony Ericcson are masters at Multimedia, the Walkman phones are loved by many, and the Idou combines Walkman and Cybershot in one lovely touchscreen package.
The Samsung is brilliant and the Idou is still unfinished with possible flaws, but for me, it's the Idou, I respect Samsung for what they created, but the Idou at the moment is the winner.
The battle is over, but the war between these two has just begun.

stop misleading the mob , , if you dont like the phones just dont get them,, free world but dont give wrong information about the phones , , these phones are just perfect.

Its says cleary tha Omnia HD have 600mhz...(ARM Cortex-A8 600 MHz processor). Learn your facts Samsung fanboy and go to Samsung page!

as for the idou, well 12 megapixels. great, but sony ericsson's track record for cameras is very poor. note the c905 and the k850.

Look people :)
There is no doubt that the omnia HD is a decent phone, but in terms of design the idou is just so much better looking. And if I'm going to have to look at the damn thing 50 times a day (or maybe even more in the beginning) than I definitely choose the idou.
And another thing why are we discussing the omnia more than the idou ? Isn't this section supposed to be about SE ?
