general, 30 May 2009True. EXMOR lens is now the main concern. If it really wi... moreMate, don't worry, Sony will never lay to waste that 12MP sensor, I am very confident with that. They are going to match that 12MP sensor with an equally hi-res lens.
Let us accept the fact that Sony is first and foremost in imaging ang camera technology. And I am not talking of Cybershots, Handycams or Alpha series alone... I am talking of Sony's leadership in professional and broadcast camera technology. For your information in case you don't know, Sony has the biggest market share in professional and broadcast video cameras... those cameras that cost many thousand of dollars used by TV Stations and News bureaus like CNN, BBC, ABC... etc.
Rest assured, Sony will offer top-of-the-line camera and lens in the IDOU which will never be matched by any phone manufacturer in the near future... UNLESS OF COURSE THEY BUY IT FROM SONY... sadly, other manufacturer can not make an imager to match Sony's using Sony's technology because Sony holds the patent.

Also in response to below posts:
1. Well said mD6k. I think many of the people who have posted comments here prefer the Satio because it's more stylish than the HD. No Omnia fanboys should say anything about the Satio being ugly; it has calss written all over it and the materials look far better than the plastic on the HD; even the previews on this site confess that the HD's materials are "below par".
2. Posts by k9w{ never really make sense and I think the comments section would be a much more enjoyable experience without these sorts of mindless posts (I've never really bothered reading them before due to the large amount of junk on them). I really wish these comments could be moderated or something. In any case thanks to those who actually make constructive posts and keep me coming back.
If only SE would somehow take note of all the good suggestions I've seen and integrate it into the phone. Things I'd like to see:
-more internal memory
-usb charging + 3.5mm jack
-a good camera overall that has more to boast about than just 12MP
-making sure the interface remains as smooth and responsive as it's been shown
-an application that lets it do my chores... but seriously this phone is already quite packed with stuff, just needs some fine tuning should hope that it has a decent battery to go with it.

the question is why se used names rahter than the usual coding system! , , this is s shift for high end phone policy , if someone wants both cybershot and walkman in 1 machine then these are the solutions , , i think that se will use the codes for mid to low range phones otherwise the whole package wont makew sense

nick, 30 May 2009why on earth do you think this phone will support divx? ... moreits just that I dont like the cheap plastic of Samsung and the boring UI that Samsung and Nokia offers. during my life I have had Samsung and Nokia phones too but W810 stole my heart and since that time I buy only SE phones. I have had Samsung phones like D600 and U900 for a short time, and my father has Nokia N95 wich looks so boring and so bricky and so I prefer to stick to my SE and enjoy the special features that only SE offers. Its true that Samsung has improved very much but for me there is only SE :D

I think the Internal memory shoud be more than 128 MB ! The P1 had 160 and the X1 has 400
