They sad could be a great, big screen Walkman phone in development. I read on a site SE will end the Cyber-Shot, and Walkman series. That SE Inside says SE will announce 2 Cyber-Shot devices soon. Hmmm.

but the lack of TV-Out, 3.5mm Jack, lack of exmor, VGA Video recording, and other stuffs like FM transmitter and digital compass makes me still think that this is not a HIGH-END phone.
It Sony, that is why it is look so cool. Since Sony are known for its good quality products. =D
The Only wow factor here is the 12mp camera(hoping for a good lens) and the Xenon.

1. Micro SD is more widely used which means it's cheaper and more people will be likely to already have one.
2. Yes, Nokia owns Symbian Ltd. which produces the OS, however it's a part of Symbian foundation, of which SE is a part of (it contributes certain technologies). So no, it's not a "copy paste Nokia brand". All of this on top of the fact that manufacturers each make their own UI to put on top of the OS. Get your facts straight.
3. Lack of 3.5mm jack is disappointing, period. The fast port plug will never be a decent replacement because they're flimsy (and probably deteriorate audio quality somewhat for someone with really good ears).
4. Yes 12MP is a big number, but there's much more to a good camera than lots of MP. Unless you're planning to print out a picture to post on an entire wall. 12MP means nothing (I'm not bashing the camera) until we actually get to see actual pictures to look at image quality.
5. As for aesthetics it's personal opinion. I personally think this looks clean, classy, elegant and beautiful.
As an overall package, judging by the specs and everything I've seen since announced, this phone looks amazing. However, I can't help the feeling that sometime before release SE is going to announce a phone that I would consider waiting for instead of this.

Idou/Satio is definitely worth the wait. No doubt HTC touch diamond 2 is outstanding, but it still have it's shortcomings. Unlike Satio where you can get everything in one package, it is definitely worth getting it for your christmas^^
Satio will be out this October. So I believe we can all wait patiently until the final product is out.
And fianlly @ SE_INSIDE,
It seems most of the information you've posted until now are fake. Now I am starting to doubt whether Satio don't have EXMOR sensor or not. Who knows, the final product will have an EXMOR word engraved on the back of its cover^^ But still, your information regarding the release date and other technical information was quite true so I thank you for giving us all these information in advance =)

I wish this phone had the ability to communicate with the PlayStation 3 instead of the Aino. This is a beautiful phone! 12 megapixel camera?! My cybershot doesn't even have that.

I was considering getting the HTC Diamond 2 on my birthday, (August) but the amazing camera and touchscreen are starting to tempt to me into going back to Sony Ericsson, so my question is, HTC Diamond 2 or Sony Erricsson Idou? Is it worth the wait or is the HTC better?

There could be a great big screen walkman device in development. :)
