We know that the cellphone makin' game can be rough, Sony Ericsson; we really do. Sometimes you've just gotta take a load off. Heck, your fellow European in the Big Five, Nokia, washed its hands of much of its CDMA responsibilities through a deal with Korea's Pantech, so we can totally understand wanting to offload your low-end R&D and manufacturing duties to SAFRAN Group's Sagem. Of course, Sagem is a little closer to home -- France, to be exact -- than those Korean folks, so you should have a pretty easy go of it keeping your rebranded stuff in check. In fact, you're so uptight about it that you've decided to open a new office right in Sagem's hometown of Cergy, France, dedicated to the low-end segment. We look forward to seeing what y'all come up with -- let's just try to make them a little more believable than the "Nokia" 6315i, mkay?

tell me, where is your source about idou is made by sagem...why do you always tell us about sagem at here whereas sagem is just "for low end phone" ? didnt you read that ?
once more. we talk about idou exclusivly at here not about low end phone, stupid!!!

Anonymous, 26 May 2009dont forget you havent answered my question yet where is yo... morealso to add the baseband processor and the RF transciever which includes the GSM quad band UMTS/WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA is made by Ericsson (Ericsson mobile platform), antenna and the RF front end is designed and developed by Sony Ericsson awesome Engineering team, mechanics that is called industrial design is designed by mechanical engineers of Sony Ericsson, software (lower level that resides on the hardware is developed by Ericsson and further enhanced and integrated by sony ericsson engineering team. Applications and customization is done by Sony Ericsson software engineers.
if it is WM device the operating system is from microsoft, if it is java its sun microsystem now Oracle and it is android it is google, symbian ofcourse symbian.

as we know cybershot and walkman are not made by sagem, it is sony...symbian, java and wm os are not by sagem..

I just got this phone off the market from my hookups, and it is the best phone ever. The camera is amazing and so are the features. I recommend this amazing phone to anyone.

Cutting outsourcing make it appear that the company is sound because it does not layoff workers... but at the price of jobs lost at the oursource.
Anybody who refuses to understand outsourcing is uninformed, out of this world, do not know the manufacturing business, or isolated.

See Nokia is looseing money just like everyone else, they cant afford outsourceing. So since they cant afford it they cut money going to other companys, which in turn causes people to lose there jobs. Nokia is just trying to make themselves look good while making everybody else look bad.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970That is propaganda, a big lie. Nokia is outsourcing too. Nokia announced that it is taking back outsourcing and production will be done "insource". This is not hard to find out... just google it.
