Saying the facts are not hatred! I guess that is over your understanding.
Saying the SE got technology from Sagem is not hatred.
What strange is that fans deny the fact. I guess according to your logic they must hate Sagem.

It is useless to try and to correct mstL. He spends his time trying to bury the truth, or any dicussion about the Idou or Sony for that matter. He has done it for a long time now, and on other Sony phones on this web sight. Why I am not sure of. He either gets his kicks off of making people mad, has nothing better to do, is mad because he does not have a Sony phone, or some other reason I am not sure of. You may do as I did, if you are looking for answers try other web sights as well as this one, you will run across someone that will help you or answer questions about the phone. Plus there is not all the B. S. going on.

How odd. Is sagem something terrible? Sorry. I have no clue on this issue. By the way, to anonymous from mstl. Did you have a bad experience using se phone? Why all the comments you post here are talking the bad of se? I don't quite get it. Why do you bare so much hatred against a particular brand? And is x1 really that bad? My friend's x1 was quite good and i find the overall experience quite pleasant except at some points where the phone starts to lag.
Hope to hear from you guys soon. =)
P.S. Is sony ericsson's customer service very poor and terrible? Personally, i doubt idou will be priced at usd 1500 as that's just an estimation. The release date is already an error so i suggest we take it with a pinch of salt. Regarding the 28th may case, i have my fingers crossed. ^.^

now I have alomost 20 se phones , and only 2 had minor problems
they are well constructed and are made with good materials too.
I just love them and are one of the important things in my life

It was a pain in the butt at times, getting the wire caught on something, having it be pulled out of my ear or jerk my phone out of my case or pocket. When they came out with stereo Bluetooth it was great not having that wire, and I have 2 sets of stereo Bluetooth. I just dont think lot of people have thought about it, or dont know that there is a stereo bluetooth out there. Besides, after you put all that money into a set of wired headphones, and replacing them, you could have a stereo bluetooth headset. But then again that is IMO.

and for all other potential buyers:
Since Se phones do not break, and the customer service is just wonderful.
Please, before you buy any model call them up. You will never ever need them afterwards. This post about poor construction - screeen breaks easily - must been written by an SE hater.
So call the mup and you will have anexperience of your lifetime:
- you get prompt service, you do not need to wait for 35 minutes for a REP. There are many, you know :) the leave messages here all the time :)))
- you do not need to navigate through a computer maze
- you get a discounted call to all overt the World since customer service outsourced.
- you are able talk to agents all over, learn their accent and you even be forced to practice that - so great! :)
- You leave all your personal info with the agent, since it is mandatory before you can ask questions.
You got a new friend :) you get mails, phone calls, you never feel alone afterward!
- For your questions you can get unlimited answers. Se guarantees that if you ask the question several times from different agents you will never get the same answer. You need high tech customer service for that. But if you lucky the same agent will give you different answers - you save money and time. :)
- It is almost sure that after this experience will be convinced that the reasons for your call is not important compare to your emotional state. You will feel you are a new person. It is like a religious experience. No wonder so many say here ˝SE Rules˝ :)

Your concern is very understandable! But, do not worry it is totally unsubstantiated.
SE can make perfect phones, so go ahead and buy the phone. But get it today, and let us know how much you liked it.
You should not even asked, just walk in to your nearest Sony Center and get it, get a half a dozen! All your friends will enjoy them.

Some of these people will not going to admit that SE has anything to do with Sagem :)))
and the fact that Sagem sold technology to Se is just irritates the hack out of them. :)))
But, it is TRUE!
Se needed technology from Sagem and HTC! and who knows what else.
SE also know that SE can not sustain itself - keep losing huge amount f money in an industry where others are very profitable!
May be they spend too much on hype and less on R&D!

for 1500 USD I get a Chinese engineer to make a handmade one!
I guess SE did not get a company to manufacture the Idou, but outsourced it to India.
I guess Idou will have a 100% metal case - it is easier to hammer ít out than making hand-made plastic.
Of course, you suppose to order a 1500USD phone without specification :))) if it is an SE why not :)))

Somebody was saying SE didn't take help from Segam. I was correcting him only. My Post about segam is very specific and to-the-point. SE took Segam's help in entry-level phones. Not all phone. Hope it makes sense to you now.

hey.... i heard dat most of da sony ericssons phone are after da period of the warranty time.... they might find some faulti ... e.g black out.. missing contact or music file for a period of time then return back may be a couple of week or loss for ever.... but i reali like da fone.... n im scare dat might be happenin.... so should i buy this or not

Again, I have just opened the forum for XPERIA and it's on top mstL's very bad comments again and again with EXPERIA as shown below. God, all SE high-end phones is being bashed out this mstL. He is truly exerting all his efforts (24 hours/7 days a week)lambasting SE phones.
Most developed country this model is FREE with a cheap contract.
Unfortunately, it is still a bad deal:
- reception bad and unreliable
- OS slow
- battery is lousy
- construction is weak
Try it for a few days before you buy!!!!

do you think you can result idou right now? dont forget your complain may be your weakness coz what do you think if you said idou is made by sagem and you always offense idou with it but there are many reviewers say idou is better than omnia hd? does it mean sagem is better than samsung? BE CAREFULL!!!
we cant result idou right now even idou is made by sagem, isnt it? wait 28may..be a patient person!!

I hope they'll make a better job with the touch screen than on a previous phones.
For example a few days ago I accidentally broke the screen of my W960. It was in my front pocket (and I'm not the only one - a lot of people broke theirs too, without even dropping it or something like that).
So hopefully this one will have a stronger screen and a multi touch will be nice :)

They benefited from the technical know-how and the engineering capacity of Sagem. As part of the agreement Sagem licensed certain hardware and software technologies to Sony Ericsson. It's NOT the other way around. WAKE UP. It was NOT just manufacturing. They even planned for joint R&D. SE didn't have enough know-how in entry-level phone. That's why they choose Segam. There is no shame in accepting that fact.

All these SE rep fans keep saying x days and the new age will come and all specs will be announced....
I bet SE will NOT release all the specs on Idou!!!
NOT NOT NOT!!!!!!!
for example the SAR value will NOT be released!!!!!!
It is basic tech info and required by law! So I think it will not be released - and that means SEwill not release all specs again!!!!!
After the second announcement(official second announcement) we will still not know all specs!
So, the bs that in 2 days will will know everything about Idou is just bull.
And they been doing this since February , 3 months!!!!!!!

MAnufacturing is not easy:
see X1 fiasco with HTC.
even HTC got into trouble!
X1 had so much trouble that it was not funny even Nokia fans.
Nokia, Samsung etc. have their own factory all over the World! For example in Euro. Not only Asia does the manufacturing!
SOf course SE needed technology - these SE fans can not even use google, keep denying the fact that SE got technology from SAGEM!
All these reps do not read the industry publications at least they should able to google :)))

Kal, 25 May 2009Saying SE doesn't need help from anyone is absolutely wrong... morethey don't need help from sagem for any kind of R&D they only use them for manufacturing there is ample knowhow in SE, just find the patents that company has for the technology and innovations sagem is used sometimes for low end phones to manufacture the phones cheaper and for WM they had used HTC to manufacture not to Develop any thing, understand there is a difference in Research and development and manufacturing, any dam company can manufacture based on the know how give.
