Chris, 24 May 2009@ SE Inside : why don't you add 3g bands available in more ... morebands are operator dependent and they get those bands from spectrum alloted by govt, its not in hands of any mobile phone manufacturer. by default US has got 850, 1900 and 1700 bands for UMTS and 850,900,1800 & 1900 for GSM+EDGE. chill man

only SE can help SE now cos, 3.5mm jack,usb port and cheaper m2 or the use of t-flash in their models wil turn their fortunes around if nt,its bye,bye to SE.

@ SE Inside : why don't you add 3g bands available in more frequencies ? UMTS 900 is great but I am in the US and those frequencies are not available here (900 & 2100).
Our carriers use 850, 1900.
This is one of the reasons nobody buys SE in the US.
Make an effort and you will gain a lot of new markets.
I am a big SE fan, but because of this I will have to buy something else.
Too bad I really love this device but 3G compatible is the minimum.

If this thing has no TV-Out, no thanks..
what i need:
Good Video recording, dont care about resolution,(nokia's Resolution is enough) but it must have HQ.
IF ever, i also want some slow mo/fast mo campture (just like omniaHD)
TV-Out, i really need a TV-Out.
Divx Support.
And a lot 3rd party apps, Iphone/WInMo are great because they have so many 3rd party apps. i hope s60 v5 apps will work here.

X1 was like this - it took a year!
Then 3-4 months to get released everywhere.
Then another 3 months to deal with the updates.
X1 is still buggy.
Now fans ask for the next hope!

am not the only one thinks that 1000mAh battery was a bad joke for this model.
It was and is SE responsibility to clarify it if it was a mistake - but they (SE) failed to do so, although it was questioned all over the net: forums articles etc.
I can only think SE really want to release this model with a 1000mAh battery!
Now that is something you can protest about - :)))))))

The sensor size of camera phones are so small that the quality of a digital camera so much better since the sensor size much larger and the electronics much more advanced.
The DLRs are has so much bigger sensors that it is pointless to compare.
The compact digital cameras already have much larges sensors and lenses and that itself enough to outperform the phones. The much more advances electronics just increases the difference.
A relatively good compact camera is about 400-500 USD.
(DSLR 1500 and up)
You pay for performance and quality when you get a digital camera - a phone will not produce similar quality.
That is the reason that today a 12mp phone camera is pointless. Much better to have a 5-8mp phone with great lens and less dense sensor - better quality.
12mp sensor more dense producing more noise and artifact with out the benefit of useful resolution.
For normal size print (8.5x11 or A4 - people rarely print this size or larger) 5-8mp is more than enough resolution.
12mp is just a PR/ / SALES gimmick without merit - actually it has disadvantage since with the same technology an 8mp sensor would produce a much better image!!!!!!!

Idou was announces 3 months ago!
Now, another announcement!
Talk is cheap!
No model will be released in few days - ONLY TALK!
Anybody can talk about concept phones!
X1 was that and now it is a total failure!
HD is alredy out and more new models comintr in few weeks.
Idou has at least 5 months to go before release!

it seems that se learned its lesson in the hard way as all do , and this losses will make the company to reform and look better and deeper to the market demands
it will combine ts traditional concepts with the new emerging trends , like entertaiment unlimited and other features like bravia and psp , and this new concepts with the old school will make se to be catapulted forward
