5800 user, 19 May 2009Hey what's your problem with SE? I am both a Nokia and a SE... moreI don't understand the big deal about the 3.5 jack either. I have had wired earbuds on my phone before, and found it to be more of a problem when you are doing things. I have a stereo bluetooth head set and have found it to be very usefull. I also think that if you are going to have a nice phone, why not have a nice head set to go with it. Get a high tech phone, get high tech head set to go with it.Plug in ear phones are getting to be a bit 'retro' in this day and age.

So all your 'dissing' of the phone has no merit. It depends on the person, if they like the phone or not. So if you like the phone...Fine, get one! If not, go find one that you do and try to find SOMETHING to be happy about.

Please get out of here, at least ait till 28th of may, I know Idou doesn't have 3.5 mm Audio jack and regular USB and that's bad, but I know SE WILL change the battery. I beg YOU get out of this forume!

I hope it will be the new king ,,its got to pack a punch for that to happen...Cannot help but feel a bit let down by it having no graphics accelerater chip but that said it all depends on its true performance in real life in real peoples hands,,even then future updates will always improve on this..

I would like to share a good news with you......i have joined samsung as dy managing director(design and construction) and i have decided that from now on all samsung phones will sport at least 3.5" oled display with outstanding sunlight visiblity...vga resolution..cheap matarial is now banned only stainless steel,aluminium,carbon fiber and alloys will be used in body and unbreakable glass for display.all sets will sport at least 8gb of internal memory.wifi,agps but NO iR....MOST OF THEM WILL SPORT WINMB 7 /S60/LINUX/ANDROID OS.
And finally we will purchase music chip from SONY INC..aLL cameras will show at least 12million pixels/vga 30fps.....
we have classified 3 catagories
1)multimedia= best screen res,biggest screens with/out touch/multitouch.Best music playback in industry and loudest speakers in industry.bluetooth 3 headsets.best in the business cameras(planning to incorporate real camera modules in phones)
2)business=very large/high res display...customers defined os(worlds first:you want winmob you get it/s60 you get it/google you got it.......all you have to do is connect phone with pc via pc suit and select os ,press security code and install os in 1 of 4 hard disks)business sets will be huge and heavy phones and sport all connectiviry options...
3)challenger series=designed specially to take on rivel phones...we will change spec every fortnight just to match and beat rivels....
So all you se fans now you know why samsung will win the war under MY GUIDENCE.
I WILL ALWAYS BE GREATFUL TO SE AS DUE TO ITS EXCELLENT REPUTATION WORLDWIDE...

We had here a SE employee but he was unable to tell us any specific info - except bs.
The fact is SE running its business really badly:
1: not customer / not fan orientated
- no tech info
- no manufacture
- no 3.5 mm jack
- etc.
2: producing lousy products lately
- X1 fiasco
- Idou 1000mAh battery - bad joke
- useless 12mp noisy camera
3: extremely slow release
- announce early, deliver late
smart PR and fool the fans - they get worked up but by the time of release the phone almost outdated.
(see X1) and it has bugs, and not reliable.
So the next 6 months the fans spend updating. By the time all updates are kinda fix the model it is totally outdated. And they are looking forward to get the next model.

I don't know if you're living under a rock or something because as far as I remember, Sony Ericsson said that they wouldn't do the same thing they did with the X1 moreover Idou will be made in SE japan and even a moron would be able to know that because of its name.

- 15-18mm thickness
So how many PR announcement will be before any data will be available.
But, what we already know is enough to see that this model is another fiasco for SE.
But lets get back to Idou:
