does anyone know the 3g bands of this phone. phonearena says 900/1900/2100. gsmarena says 900/2100.

nick, 11 May 2009irrelevant point. sony ericsson shouldnt have taken this lo... moreit took so much time for SE to apply VGA but thats why they had to pay the consequences(lose money). I'm sure they have learned the lesson thats why they put a 12mp camera and all the latest technology in this phone. wait 'till the 28 of May to learn more about it

ok guys this is getting really boring, i've seen better fights in this forum. i know you can do better.
if you samsung fans don't know how to entertain us then leave the forum cause you're just wasting your time, if a person wants to have the idou, that person will wait for the final specs and evaluate if it's worth to spend money on it, but i'm pretty sure that person won't choose omniaHD or n97 just because your comments say they're better.

You know what I didn't like in your post and why I replied? It's because even if you have no idea what's the agenda of that so called "meeting" you are putting Samsung in a bad light. It's a useless issue to discuss. Seems like most of you don't even know that Sony and Samsung even though they are rivals, have a patent sharing agreement for a quite a long time now. Nothing is secret between them other than Sony's PlayStation and Samsung's Home Networking. You guys can fight to death but they have an arrangement, mind that. About HD..one has to master the technology for VGA, D1, 720p HD and then FULL HD. SE is not dumb that they will skip everything and jump into full HD with their first entertainment Unlimited device. They will go step by step. That's how it usually works. If idou comes with FULL HD then what's next? That's a dead end my friend.

will you please go fight somwhere else and this phone is not yet out so don't make negative issue about this phone if you think your other phone is good go for it and where not telling you to buy this phone... Your like a 12 years old fighting for so small issue...

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970idou has competent to deliver HD video.. if idou uses VGA video i think SE has many reasons for it like an agreement with samsung.. i think samsung will dominate mobile market with their HD video...SE and samsung will make a strategy marketing for their phone...i hope se cancel their meeting with samsung..

Mohd, 10 May 2009it make sense.. but the se jack is quite big and easier ... moreyes..i think SE has bad strategy for it but if you are a seller which will you sell ? 3.5 jack or SE headset that can be broken so people must buy it again and again from you ? :) it is strategy marketing

when you buy SE phones its worth the price... the specs, and its components are all standard and rigid... almost all SE phones are in metal covers not like other phones which is plastic.... and this phone as I can read on reviews its one of the best smart phones....

it is just for comfortable and safe coz it wont be easy to spoiled..
sometimes we use tight jeans n put our fone inside while listening music.. the jack will spoiled easilyyyyy.. :)
