Another slim 10.6mm smartphone was announced
Things really looks bad for Idou!
15-18mm started to look even bigger brick now!
And December is still far away - by that time Idou will be totally outdated.

It's like the 12mpx of this phone marketing strike because a real dslr will remain better but it's some kind of great functionnality for both phones. :)

The resolution of omnia and idou is 640x360 which is exactly a quarter of 720p. So it has an exact 16:9 screen which is ideal for widescreen movies.

hey people... why they say that samsung OMNIA HD can playback HD video??? are sure? considering the pixels of OMNIA HD it is not even a standard screen at all.. @720p recording the HD pixel in horizontal and vertical count should be (WxH) 1024x768... while OMNIA HD is 640x360 only? even it is not a VGA screen at all... how can you play HD on non VGA screen? 720p requires XGA screen.....
