I can not imagine that Se will be able to release Idou in a recession without some other company´s help - that means Se will not make a dime on it - only save its reputation.
X1 was released with the help of HTC - but HTC was smart enough not to make it a big success :) SE got really p.ssed.
Now Se is in the same position - but who will be the new partner?
The saga continues. :)

The fact is Samsung, Toshiba, Apple, HTC, LG and even Motorola has some Idou killer just about to be released.
SE˙s best choice to cancel the model and fuse with another company - toshiba?

Together they are not even on the map of smartphone market.
Nokia outsell SE 15:1 may be 20:1 hard to say because SE market share is so low.
SE business decisions are just mind buggering.
3.5mm jack, HTC, WinMo (X1) suddenly now Symbian (Idou), overpricing than giving away phones, lack of quality control etc.
SE itself is entertainment unlimited :)))

There is no way that SE can produce this model without any help from another corporation.
X1 was done by HTC.

Bt,if it was so idou would have been flater and wider like TG01.

Mobilemaster, 21 Apr 2009I don't understand why Foxconn will make the Android based ... moreMobilemaster,i belive foxconn is more than able to handle the manufacture of the smartphones.infact,i would love them to handle 50 percent of SE brand phones and i got my reasons. 1,i am an engineer and i have seen and observe the capabilities of foxconn in the area of the psp range,vaio,ipod,mac book and others. 2,they jst manufactured an insanely advanced board for AMD chips. 3,the foxconn made fones of 2005 and 2006 are stil indestructible till date. If foxconn is to handle the manufacture belive me SE wil start making gains.they jst have to bring the price down and use first class materials frm ericsson,philips,samsung and ST microelectronics.

i think this will be the bomb in Nigeria when released. it definately will make waves here with all these "killing" specifications. cant wait to have 1 4 myself.

Guys, don't talk with that guy from Anonnymous from MstL, coz is a Sony Ericsson hater. He says Sagem make phones from Sony Ericsson, and Idou will be develop by Toshiba, or Sagem. Oh my God, that boy make me angry! He can't understand the Idou is a Sony Ericsson, and not Toshiba.

I don't understand why Foxconn will make the Android based phones, Sony Ericsson is advanced, exemple they are capable to make waterproof mobiles, or Bravia phones!!! Sony Ericsson Japan is advanced, that Foxconn company is not as good like Sony Ericsson. I can't understand this company. The Idou will be develop by the Japanese counterpart of the company, and I think is very good. If all the smartphones will be make by Sony Ericsson Japan, Sony Ericsson will be in the second place, this is my opinion.

We will not see soon Android based phones from Se. This is bad, but the worst think is not SE will make the Android based phones.

LG just show their q1 2009 report...LG exceeds their expectation..success in q1 2009 while nokia+se fallin down..
Samsung will report in 24 april..seems samsung also shining...and targets to grab 19% market share to catch nokia..leave lg+se+moto behind

well yah in the website it show that idou going to use omap3430 but also made me relies that Omnia HD will use 3430 too..i have tried to look in other sites where it said that Omnia HD will use Omap3440 but i couldn't find ...will you give me your source about Omnia HD going to use OMAP3440 ?

also in GSMArena in Omnia Specification it said that Omnia's CPU is ARM Cortex-A8 600 MHz processor
which according to OMAP site that omap3440 only work at ARM Cortex-A8 800 MHz processor
which it shows that Omnia HD is using 3430 which it work on ARM Cortex-A8 600 MHz processor..
anyway if they change it show me the article

I read somewhere that it may come with a stylus, so I'm guessing resistive.
Also it is 1000mAh but not Li-Ion, it's Li-Po which supposed to give a better battery life.....don't know how since it still is a 1000mAh...

Will it have a resistive or capacitive touchscreen? Anyone knows for sure? And what about the battery? 1000mAh... are you effing kidding me??
