Together they are not even on the map of smartphone market.
Nokia outsell SE 15:1 may be 20:1 hard to say because SE market share is so low.
SE business decisions are just mind buggering.
3.5mm jack, HTC, WinMo (X1) suddenly now Symbian (Idou), overpricing than giving away phones, lack of quality control etc.
SE itself is entertainment unlimited :)))

Sony is greatest and number one in consumer electronics but Ericsson is number 1 in wireless base station and infrastructure for wireless. They are into this technology for more than 100 years no other company has that kind of resume.
90% of sony Ericsson mobile phones have Ericsson mobile chipsets (Baseband+Transceiver) and the Layer 1 software. And they are doing great, so don't worry just chill, we are getting best of two worlds, sony is contributing for the camera, walkman and the branding where as Ericsson is taking care of all communication needs, worlds 70% GSM+EDGE+WCMDA+HSDPA+HSUPA+HSPA+ and then LTE is coming from Ericsson.

Samsung is a manufactury and nokia is the king Sony Ericsson never wanna overtake this two but just wanna stay at the third place and don't worry it will not be sale just jalous words, don't you see them so angered that they come to the idou topic if in october idou is not good just buy your samsung and nokia phone that's your problem sony ericsson says entertainement unlimited and the meaning of this sentence is near to be tells to everyone with the two other phone that Sony ericsson choose to launch then come back to say that the few sony ericsson's smart phone are bad because we don't care. ;)

Sony bought Ericsson for its development capabilities - so this guy gets everything incorrect.
