I guess these reps just repeat things like parrots.
They get a two hour training probably not even a high school diploma and they act like enginners.
ERMOR sensor quality - it does not exist. :) It is a PR phrase which totally unscientific.
Do not reflect any specs or performance requirements.

Idou's Disadvantages
- OS is so immature and it looks boring
- buggy because SE is still on experimental stage
- no document viewer
- no tv-out
- no 3.5mm jack
- expensive (more likely to be 700 euros)
- lacks software availabilty

each resolution has their size and on their size they will get their quality.
vga size is 480 x 640 (around 8"-12" screen(max)) if you stretch it to 30" screen of course it can be stretched then there will be many distorted pixels. it is not about quality but size it means if you use HD video so you can watch a video on bigger screen size than vga video.
there are many factors can make a good video quality like :graphic chip type, CMOS sensor quality, lens module quality, color number of phone screen, processor speed and resolution of phone screen.
i have ever seen a HD video with bad quality, it was blur, unsharp ect then i have also seen a good vga video quality, the video was clearer and sharper than the HD video quality i have ever seen before.
you must know idou uses diff factors quality with omnia HD of course.idou uses diff CMOS sensor and lens module with samsung but it has the same graphic chip as samsung HD. in other side idou MP camera is higher than omnia HD.
have you ever seen EXMOR sensor quality on SONY digital video ? the video quality is great.
i must accept the fact that samsung camera quality is good if you compare it with the SE previous camera phone but in that time SE camera phone didnt use EXMOR cmos sensor,graphic chip and also never use 16m colors so idou quality will be diff with the SE previous camera phone.
if idou can only record vga video but with the same factors quality as samsung HD, so it will have the same quality as samsung HD video but if the idou has better factors quality than omnia HD coz the exmor sensor and sony lens module so idou vga video will have better quality than omia HD but not in size of screen.
wait till final product of idou is out then you will see a review of idou then result it

having a capacitative touch screen is NOT an indication of quality. Rather, it is a personal preference. Having a capacitative touch screen, for instance, does not allow for handwriting recognition, which is a huge plus factor in my book.

the omnia HD is also better than the idou, because
it has the amoled screen which is more power conscious
it has 8/16GB of internal memory + card slot
it has high defition video abilities
it has a FM transmitter
it has a capacitive touchscreen
the idou has a 12mp camera, but hang on a minute, the Omnia HD still has a 8 megapixel camera!

imagine, a video with 320 resolution and a 720p, show it in a 30" tv, then compare, of course 720p will be better if they have same lens/sensor etc.. just like comparing a 3mp and a 8mp picture, zoom it in one spot then compare. of course 8mp will be better even in the same lens/sensor..
you can try it in your phone if you want.. adjust the settings, and compare..

why would ANYONE buy the idou when the omnia HD willl be available
