I know SPB is good but has ny one tried QT yet?
been hearing a lot about it lately but not sure how good it is ...
if any one has used it ,please share ur views with us

seraj, 13 Sep 2010hey there... which version of the SPB SHELL is the BEST fo... morev3.5.7 build 437 that's so far the only latest version that runs in my satio! i had tried a dozen times downloading v3.7.0 build 460 and 498 yes it installed in the phone but it says cannot be run as it loads... to embarassing i had visited many websites that offered spb yet none of them offered spb that can be run in satio...

in the firmware-section/releases , both mods are listed with instructions to install them.
But first your phone must be hacked. If you are running R2AK you need to downgrade the phone to R1C, the details of which are also given on the forum though I can't locate exactly where.
You could also look at esato.com

tell me what do u know of the latest ... moreThe R2AK0006 is indeed unhackable. To hack you have to downgrade to a lower version, hack the phone and then upgrade back to R2AK an then install these mods.
Some features of the kokoro mod work only on the latest firmware(R2AK).
Go over to se-satio.co.uk for more details and tutorials on how to do this. This is a forum where both raafat and basithz are present.

The Camera has a phone with it both do a great job.
Would like voice dial and auto answer like the C902.
The rest of the phones will not reach the mark this has set, well not yet.

1)Raafat's kokoro mod ,which places vivaz homescreen, speed,function and battery life improvements onto your phone.
2)Basithz's BAM:
It is a mod which makes the phone significantly louder. It is also stated to improve sound during video recording( all satio owners would understand sound during videos is not the satio's strong point)

Greetings!!!! just finished downloading the new spb shell v3.7.0 build 460 wow the bugs from the former version wer fixed and for that it made me feel i'm in loved again with my satio!!! It will be aggravated the moment version 5 will be released!!! Download it now to regain your love with your satio

Dear All,
Yea i too have been following that Sony Forum where they are talking about no more updates ,but if there is any hope then we have to consider that there is no mention of "NO MORE UPDATES" by ny of the sony employee.So , i say keep the hope alive for next month or so alteast and wait for ny news.
Also , on another note , Do u guyz think it is really beneficial to hack our satio ?
i mean i know that it allows u to install apps withouts worryin about certificates etc but what else does it bring to the table?
i mean what else do it do for u?
if it's SPB , then we can have spb anyways on the unhacked satio as well ..
if it's vivaz homescreen , then i say yea it's good to have that but not a must must ....
at last , i think things like kinetic scrolling or the audio recording being low is something i would look forward to it i want to hack ...No the question is does Hacking allow u to do this?
