Anonymous, 08 Apr 2009I tell you what contradict these statements - SE past behav... moreyou dont know about X1...X1 is the smartest phone of 2008...the x1 is very flexible and smart..you wont be bored with x1 coz you can add many applications and use diff UI with the feature at 1 time..you can install many UI appls like 3D touch floo,Omnia UI, Iphone UI also you can use android on X1 coz X1 uses unique UI, it is 9 panels UI and each panel has diff UI with the other panel without replace the default UI.so i dont mind if X1 had a delay problem.actually i have been using x1 for 4 months and iam happy with it. now x1 is much faster then before coz SE has released a new ROM software so there is no laggy buggy problem anymore on X1 also i can use many appl to increase X1 speed quality.many peoples still want to have it too except SE hater of course...i have x1 it means i have everything...yes. x1 also has weakness coz no phone is perfect on earth but X1 also has many good things too.each people has diff opinion or view about a phone so dont push anyone with your opinion about X1 if you dont like x1, yes that is for you
and 1 thing you must know that x1 had delay problem coz HTC manufacture quality problem in taiwan and the WM OS problem so SE got x1 release date problem. i think x1 is diff with idou..
Dont you read that idou has diff developer and manufacture quality with X1. idou is the first phone of entertaiment unlimited umbrella and it uses diff OS with X1, idou uses symbian OS not wm OS.you cant compare idou with X1 coz it is soo diff phone at all quality...pls dont act as if you knew everything of entertaiment unlimited umbrela quality.

My taste is mine, yours is yours.
For me, a 15mm thick phone with a 1000mAh battery with touch screen etc, is a bad joke especially for 2010 or 2011.

X1 was lat almost a year. People - fans - for 6 mos day after day wrote when? when? When?
Then finally, it ways released in November. But it took about 6 mos to get release in different countries. For example, it took for ever in the US.
Se extremely irresponsible. Of course, 6-12 mos in cell phone business is a lifetime.
The technology changes so fast. And the newly released phone with 3MP camera generates lotś of questions.

I would not trust any SE PR announcement - They did it before and they failed to follow through.

Kal, 08 Apr 2009--"SE has already used 12MP camera for their phone and the ... moreyes, you are right that samsung announced 12MP camera phone at first before idou but that was just an announcement.there is no news about their 12MP cmos and lens module...in fact, 12MP exmors sensor has been out at first (in march, it is the highest pixel as much as 12MP at the moment) and already used on IDOU so we just wait the idou full spec till all feature of idou is done included the OS(this summer) it means idou is not only a concept phone but the full spec is almost done.the problem is SE doesnt want to annouce the full spec of idou too early from the release date.dont get me wrong i dont want to offense you bro...you can see the news at here :

Sony never bankrupt.. coz they many Making Product like sony vaio,sony picture,Sony Bravia,Sony walkman.sony Ericsson, sony Blu Ray,Sony PS3 o PS2,Sony Handy Cam,Cyber Shot.. and Sony the 1st product using blu Ray and HD Tv.. They Stay Cool.. Ha Ha Ha Ha...

Hello everyone. First off, I wish to apologize. Sorry Kal. It seems that I have misunderstood you. My deepest apology. And secondly, to those SE critics...How Many Times do you want to keep bringing up the issue on battery life and thickness??!! My god! Aren't you guys tired of going on with the same issue over and over again? Then let me ask you, besides these two weakness and the proprietary port(I don't think everyone hates it =D ), what other weaknesses does idou have??!! My goodness! Get real! This product isn't even out yet and here you are making tones and tones of useless assumption and fuss. I suggest that all of us wait patiently for the final product to hit the shelves and if it really fails us, then by all means, you may criticize it to your heart content. However, if it is the opposite, then I wish all of you critics would eat your word and disappear from this forum. Everything have it's pros and cons! How can you possibly compare a pre-released phone with another pre-released phone. That's absurd! I will be waiting for idou to be released as I believe that SE would be able to deliver an outstanding handset ^^

Go onto mobileburn an they say the idou should be made available in October,but you do not if the recession might be hitting Sony Ericsson worst than first thought

Idou to be released this October? For sure!
That’s right, folks. The Sony Ericsson Idou touchscreen-wielding 12MP snapper uber phone will be released this October (or November at the latest), as confirmed by Sony Ericsson’s german product manager Steffen Grosch. It’ll run on the new Symbian OS, which is based on Nokia’s S60 and Sony Ericsson’s UIQ. As many of you know it’ll be the first phone from the new Entertainment Unlimited series. The Idou will not only focus on music and imaging, but on games, social networking and video as well.
What’s curious, though, is that according to Gustaf Brusewitz from Sony Ericsson Sweden, it’ll be released “sometime in the second half of the year”. Well, that certainly doesn’t contradict the first statement, does it?

Sorry I cant agree with you on this. SE JUST ANNOUNCED that they will use 12mp in Idou. THEY SO FAR DIDN'T USE IT. It might happen at the end of the year. Right? Nokia's concern might be 8mp but as far I know Samsung was working on 8mp with 3x optical zoom and another 12mp way before IDOU was announced and it will be out before Q4. So lets not say that Samsung is following SE when that happens. If merely announcing a phone way ahead of its actual release means SE was first and the rest are following then that is absolutely wrong. SE did it in purpose to please their share holders. They have to get the share holders confidence. Samsung, Lg both are working on 12mp but unlike SE they didn't announce a concept phone, they will do that on time. And yes of cource there will be more megapixels next year. Everyone knows it. Thanks.

1st quarter result : SE lost about 360 billion...woohoo..SE goes bankrupt.. Idou can't fight omnia hd or n97!!
Sony also lost again..samsung rules the electronics war..even lg kicks sony..
Cybersh*t n walkman are nothing..idou? Omnia hd kicks idou before idou announced..bye2 sony..rest in peace

that is why i said "fortunetly SE hasnt made their idou full spec officially so SE has a chance to upgrade idou ( i mean, you cant make a jugdement that idou will be expired by that time coz you dont know idou features in final spec whereas the other company still concern in 8MP camera phone and till now the features are not special for me and not far from idou.more feature more expensive. i dont think SE just make idou for their high end phone this year, there will be more than 2 phones and i dont thing you will buy an super expensive highend phone like samsung HD or idou, you just make a complain then push the other phone that you dont like)

The only thing people about this phone that bothers me is the size ( how will it feel in hand) and the battery life cause for the features of this phone and the size it should have 1500 battery but well will jus have to see. But I like it oh yeah and texing on this phone cause I havent seen any videos showing this phones texing, have any of you.
