D@rK, 24 Mar 2009and to ppl who always keep posting rumors on and on like So... morejust incase anyone hadnt noticed or is to ignorant to realise, this whole website is based on rumours...when the phone gets released all the stats on here will change! i work in a well known mobile phone retailer and even the sony reps dont know much about it! ...and as for sony and erricson parting ways..its only because erricson are pushing for a psp device and sony kicked up a fuss!
personally i wont be going near this phone with a barge pole judging on SE previous phones, looks good but dont touch!

that 1000mah is from the prototype phone!
SE is still not announcing the battery of this cellphone!
remember samsung omniaHD? it has only 1200mah in its prototype, but in the final version, it has 1500mah..

SonyEricsson you really need to think about the battery life. Thats probaly 24hrs with use before charging again??, its sick to release a incomplete product that will cause an inconvenience to your customers. I hope nokia/samsung etc release similar fuction phones with silicon string technology in Q3 so that people can boycott your good yet unpractical product.

Wow i thnk this device is a Monster! It looks Hot and it runs on my favourate OS its a colectors item indeed! Im curently using the new King Nokia N96. W960 is also hot though SE's dont hav DSP'S wich is a downfall on my part coz i need that super sonic sound experience... Im geting this no doubt! Im nt a touch screen fan though...

first of all those are only F*&#ing rumors
and second thing let's talk about SONY only
there products not ONLY MOBILE PHONES!!!
so even if they damn loose money in MOBILE industry they have other sources in Market like Camera,TV,laptops,just showing there name in a MOVIE like JAMES BOND see how many MILLIONS they get from it..

as for battery
just like samsung omniaHD in MWC it only uses 1200mah! but in the final product, it will use 1500mah...
SE put Li-Po battery in IDOU in "PROTOTYPE" it is 1000mAh but!! in final product it will be more then that..

Li-Po 1000 mAh?!?!? Are you f$cking kidding? it'll last what? half an hour? Man... What does it matter if the phone has a 30MP cam, a 10" OLED capacitive screen, 64GB memory, a 2000mhz processor and what not if you have to charge your phone more than once a day! What a bummer! I truly hope SE can pull a miracle out of this battery...

Check it, SE Idou 3D HW graphics are PowerVR SGX - as are Palm Pre and Samsung Omnia HD - all 3 phones are TI OMAP 3!

Polymer batteries perform better that the older ION. Take a look at Sony Ericssons other phones. They use Polymer batteries and check out there pone ratings for talk time. Even I can attest to that with my SE W810i. Didn't give me the controlled 8 hrs. talk time advertised, but a solid fully charged 4 hrs. straight real world talk time, and that, any cell user will tell you, is pretty darn good.
