I just call SE shop at senayan city jkt, i asked about C510 and you know, the sales girl slam the phone!! Thats sucks man! I really upset about it, now i became a member of SE.

Idou is simply the best
It has all the novelties that a person wants in a phone
based on S60 so its a complete replacement of any Nokia N Series
I like its back panel becuase its totally different from others
Those people who are saying about battery life so guys, SE is always great in terms of battery life, look at X1, it has a 3 Inch touch screen & great resolution but inspite of that it has 10 hrs of talktime n 833 hrs or stand by time so dnt worry about battery
Because Sony is the No.1 Battery supplier
Sony supplies its battery to a number of laptop makers like Dell, Acer, HP, IBM,Lenovo Group
so please don't say that IDOU has a weak battery .
I think SE is always 1 step ahead from others. It create alot of innovations like S700 in 2004 SE is the only one in top 5 cell makers that provides QVGA Resolution in S700 at that time.
First Auto Focus n DIGICAM like Camera Interface
K750 was the 1st auto focus cell phone
K790/800 was the 1st cell phone that had Xenon Flash
SE is still leader in Music Phone with its most popular Walkman brand
SE makes its history
n others just follow them
Like Nokia's recently announced Xpress Muzik phone that has TOUCH MUZIK KEYS
that SE is providing TOUCH KEYS since W980.
So don't worry n just chill n proud to be fan of the great company.

It may use the u500 or u380 or ti omap 3430 platform. The 3430 platform is the one used in omnia hd. It has 600mhz processor and is capable of 720p video playback and 480p video recording without any additional graphic accelerator. The u380 platform is nothing but 3430 with ericsson hspa modem. The u500 platform uses 3 arm11 processors. Thats triple the power of n95. Add to that mali200 graphic accelerator( search youtube for mali200 demo to witness its power). I dont think that there is any other platform supported by symbian (no nvidia tegra or snapdragon). So in any case idou will be capable of 480p video recording and will have 600mhz processor.

the phone design doesn't look up to date an the back looks boring but if it has wicked awesome features an a really long battery life i wont mind.

S.K., 12 Mar 2009it lacks one big feature i.e. gps receiver. it only has a-g... morea-GPS means assisted GPS, i.e. assisted by the phones own network triangulation, my C905 has full turn by turn navigation and google maps which allow me to pinpoint my poaition.

The wifi is crap, I cannot surf the net wiv mine. just connects to router & hangs. txtin is awkward too, i got large thums & whilst typing, its like having t9 on. I always havr t9 off, but get loads of letters appearing often. SE said they don't know what to do! lol

please launch it with a full qwerty keyboard and please have some changes in de panel back design.. If its possible give it with double zenon flash and good battery back up.:-)

SE Idou is a Cybershot... with a mobile phone.
SE Idou is a Walkman... with a mobile phone.
It's a Sony... "like.no.other".
Unfortunately, SONY's bold innovations in mobile phones... point-and-shoot camera and MP3 player sales may drop down.
Who would buy a point-and-shoot camera or a MP3 player when you can have both plus a mobile phone... in an Idou.

How about Nokia... I don't remember any.
With SONY's entry into the mobile world together with ERICSSON in a partnership... our phones become more fascinating and entertaining... others follow.
Idou is the 1st phone in the SE Entertainment Unlimited lineup... even before its release... it is already a VERY HOT PHONE... it will be an envy of others because it will be "like.no.other"... It's a SONY.

Hi all
the final retail idou must sport a 3.5mm jack and play WMA media files and have the bad and annoying traditional SE data jack changed to Usb. If this is achieved the Idou Will be a historical event. Otherwise it will be a huge failure .
