Anonymous, 09 Mar 2009how can you beat this phone? it's way too perfect. The looks of SE IDOU is really nice and it’s very stylish also. When looks and style are the first preference then IDOU can easily beat Omnia HD.
But when technology is the first preference then IDOU can not even come closer to Omnia HD. (except 12MP still camera)

D@rK, 09 Mar 2009i agree with you about Idou having Resistive TS it's really... moreI agree with you. Dix/Xvid is not a problem for any Symbian S60.
But what about others.... Screen, video recording capability, 3G speed.
Do not expect that SE will provide Capacitive TS and HD (1280x720 24FPS) Video recording.

Right now I am using Nokia 5800(resistive TS), so I can tell you that my experience with
Resistive TS is not good enough. Resistive TS is not a true ‘TOUCH SCREEN’; it is a ‘PRESSURE SCREEN’ as user must give a pressure to give input. Where Capacitive TS does not require any pressure, just touch the screen and the screen will response instantly, just like iPhone. You can only feel it when you use Capacitive TS, believe me, it’s really amazing.

I will never go for the 12MP camera with unknown (may be VGA (640x480) with 30FPS) video recording capability. I will go for the 8MP still camera with HD (1280x720 24FPS) video recording capability as it is a good balance between Still Camera and Camcorder.

3G speed is also important for me. For the future 7.2MBps is really good.

As a SE fan, I am very sad because I have to move from SE to Samsung!

cat, 09 Mar 2009There is no information about its processor, video recordin... morei agree with you about Idou having Resistive TS it's really not nice but we only have to wait cause maybe they will change something in it maybe sony ericsson will surprise us and maybe not..

but about a handset that don't have DivX/XviD i don't see any problem with that when you have a symbian OS on your handset?? there is many programs that can help you open your movies and watch them without any problem even DivX is available to download it on your handset...
even if you don't have DivX/XviD program or you can't put them in your handset like most of SE handsets in K,W,C,T...you still can watch movies on you handset..
i have K800i but i still can watch movies on my handset even thu i can't rewind or stop in middle of the movie show but still it can be watch...

and now SE brought Media GO in there game to help those who want to watch movies in there handsets

so if a handset that don't have DivX/XviD it's not a big deal cause there are other options and with Symbian OS the options are even more xD

There is no information about its processor, video recording capability.
Resistive TS and normal TFT LED screen is again boring.
                        No free memory(8GB or 16GB)
Only 12Mp camera is not enough for me.
I am a SE fan but Omnia HD is better than Ido because of 8MP still camera, HD(1280x720 24FPS) video recording capability, 3.7" OLED Capacitive TS, higher 3G speed and DivX/XviD player support.

But I SWEAR! if SE release the full spec of this phone and if I read the video recording can only go up to QVGA 30fps... I'm going to kill somebody!!!
