Hi! This phone looks awesome, I always go whatever phone I think is the best phone on the market regardless of which company makes it. I currently have the Samsung INNOV8 which is a quality phone. I like the look of the OminaHD because of the unbeatable video recording capabilities but will definately wait for the Idou if Sony get the video recording sorted on this beauty. Sony phones have always let me down with their video recording=( Does anyone have any idea what fps the Idou will be able to record video at?

    But as far as I know S class UI is not OS (operating system) name but UI (user interface).Each phone of different company has their own UI for example HTC touch pro has 3D touch floo UI and the OS is windows mobile or xperia has 9 panels UI concept and the OS name is WM. Yes I accept it that the arena S class UI is great and unique but LG didn’t say the OS but their new UI so as long as LG doesn’t confirm their OS, Arena is not a smartphone.

    And for your Xperia information is too outdate because SE and HTC have confirmed officially for long ago before xperia was released that X1 is manufactured by HTC and SE designed and made X1.If you don’t believe me you can send email to SE or HTC by yourself officially . I don’t blame you about this coz there was rumor about that and that wasn’t true.

    But in my logic, SE has good audio quality like walkman player also has good camera quality reputation so should SE need HTC for this? Look at x1 media player is walkman player look not HTC media player and look at x1 camera options that is like cybershoot options look.did you say x1 is made by HTC coz has the same spec with HTC touch pro?
    I think you are wrong…why?

    X1 has WVGA screen, it is 5 times bigger resolution size than VGA screen, VGA video resolution, differ battery capacity with touch pro, 9 panels UI, use qwerty keyboard ect

    HTC Diamond has VGA screen, doesn’t have vga video resolution, smaller battery capacity than x1, 3D touch floo UI, doesn’t have qwerty keyboard ect

    Then HTC confirmed HTC touch pro after X1 spec has been confirmed first and HTC added qwert keyboard hardware like X1 did

    After X1 was out in the market, HTC made HTC HD which has many features like x1 (wvga resolution screen ect)

    These histories are the facts and true, does it mean HTC copied X1 ?

    About idou ?

    Don’t forget, idou is walkman player and cybershoot camera quality into one, So do you mean walkman and cybershoot are not made by SE ? where did you get information that idou is not made by SE but made by the other company? SE has paten for their product like walkman player and cybershoot camera.Sony has confirmed their camera sensor for SE (idou) officially and the sensor got a name (IMX060PQ is a 1/2.5 CMOS image sensor from the Exmor series that)

I heard SE phones there in japan more neat n tough built,wider screen,very good music quality n far more advanced features than any phones that been posted here..hontou ni sugooii!! Lol..got HD bravia screen technology, HD video record quality..i'm so jealouse w/ evry1 in japan.. Phones techs there are SUPERB..!! N u cannot compare this iduo w/ SE phones thats produced for ppls in Japan..iduo tech is left one step behind..so sad to admit it so :) peace

                          FANTASTIC in-door developed UI (lg calls it S class) with elastic icons n cubic interface

                            Arena IS a smartfone.it uses S class UI which takes on from where iPhone software left off...yes it resembles alot to iPhone UI but it is more fluid, more responsive, n of course more attractive.
                            in terms of touch response,Arena is the best ever.U can test it for yrself in a few weeks(i already have)
                            The build quality of Arena is also unprecedent among LG fonz.TWO marvelous features of Arena are BUILD QUALITY n SOFTWARE.

                            I am NOT an SE HATER...i just want to be realistic. i mean yes se has some good fonz just like every other company(I have a W810i too,n used to have p910i),BUT the two Flagship fonz of SE (Xperia and FUTURE Idou)are not made by SE. Y should a big company like SE go up to HTC and ask for help. couldnt they make a WinMo themselves, read Xperia specs, its like reading HTC fonz(maybe touch pro).
                            and DONT get me wrong i like this Idou fone on the whole, but its not my style since it is too big n bulky(maybe thats not a prob. to u), and u have to wait for the 3rd quarter of the year for it.

                              nice product i think..but SE product in japan has greater display than this..most of SE product in here has full wide VGAscreen (840x480pixel)..excelent to watching tv..

                                Sony Ericsson is the man!

                                SE done big improvements in starting of 2009…. That’s really good………

                                3.5 inch Display
                                Walkman 4 player
                                3.5mm audio jack
                                12.1MP camera

                                SE sound quality and picture quality is really well. The designs are really well. Still I’m using K700i. I’m really sad to throw my K700i because I’m using more than 3.5 years in healthy condition.

                                I love SE.

                                    Hmm..i think LG is copycat of SE, the fonts,the screens,felt more familiar w/ SE phones..looks exactly the same,specially the fonts..LG is the cheaper of SE version.
                                    So LG Arena its for those ppls who want cheaper n simple touchscreen phone..LG Arena got flash UI, nice 5 megapxls of scheineider lens.. Feels like mid range if u want to compare w/ iduo that is so high class phone,so i think their market target is different.. Hmm..n i heard LG will go winmo,they cooperate together w/ microsoft, LG is going to produce smartphones too..LG phones going smart,i hope they work on durability of their batteries life cos its kinda lame..:) peace
