i am very curious. Does idou have smart contrast like those of the c905? What's the resolution of video captured by idou? HD? What's the estimated price of this handset?

hmm problem is MP higher can mean anythign...u see some 3.2mpx camera is better than 5mpx..it is looking at the quality..even it is 20mpx bt suck quality will also lose to 8mpx =) anyway nice try SE for Changin to OS..UR UIQ is freaking bored

its really a good phone , however it has one problem, its not powered by symbian os, i like symbian os because it has wide range of applications.
but still this will be a great phone because of its high end specifications

It's already official: IdouThe Sony Ericsson Idou is nowhere near complete - they haven't even come up with a marketing model name yet as Idou is still code name for the device(from GSM Arena itself so ... I'm right xD )

thank you for the info I'm sure the guys at SE will do their best for this phone camera quality ...we're speaking about 12 MP here !!! Anyway I would love if video recording would be great and the other features i've talked about in the last post will be on board,especially youtube client.

eCStAzzy, 25 Feb 2009VGA@30fps at least* not QVGA...it would be much greater SVGA!!!that will be great but according to official sony site this camera it self can record video 1080p @ 27fps and 720p @ 30 fps as long as this phone has processor speed that can suppord 1080p@ 27fps..i hope sony implemented their full camera quality on this phone.
yes it will has vga video at least and 1080p@27fps at full quality of the camera quality it self

Hello girls & guys ...what would you think if Idou would have these features implemented too : more call records,3G+ ( HSDPA+HSUPA ),good camera recording ( QVGA@30fps at least ),Youtube client,document viewer,battery life 3 day to last on mediocre usage and why not aplications like ( FaceBook,Twitter or even Myspace )?
btw can some1 guess what's gonna be called when available,cuz this is just its codename ?

Very nice phone, hope its my first touch
Have two questions:
- Will the screen be capacitive or resistive touch? That will make a big difference, i wish its capacitive like the iPhone.
- Will the GPS work without internet connection, because they are saying it has Google Maps, which needs internet all the time?

I just wonder why SE didn't continue on the Symbian UIQ in their newer models. I believe if they're willing to spend alittle more in R&d lab, the OS will rock and kick the current Symbian on what so called Nokia Symbian foundation?
