this SE 12MP camera can operate Full HD video!!!

The Asian half of the Sony Ericsson joint-venture has just gone official with IMX060PQ, a 1/2.5 CMOS image sensor from the Exmor series that, apparently, has the industry’s highest Megapixel count: 12.25 MP.
The new 12.25 MP sensor is equipped with autofocus and it will be available staring March 2009. Its price is said to be of 2,500 Japanese yen ($26), so the phones to include it should not be more expensive than the 8 Megapixel ones that are already on the market (like Sony Ericsson C905, Samsung Innov8 or LG Renoir).
Needless to say, the handsets that will include Sony’s IMX060PQ will be made by Sony Ericsson, so I guess we should expect some really hot Cyber-shot phones to come in 2009.

that is about camera and video parts but idou has new walkman quality too WOW....idou is amazing but no one realize it..

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970i would realy love SE,to take more time to upgrade d HSDPA,WI-FI and make it a dual memory card user for its loyal SE fans dat hav m2 card frm our previous SE phns.pls!

Nokia rocks??? Since when..The begining that really rocks is "SE ROCKS" SE got it from beginning..cos their music quality specially "megabass" really rocking!! Now thats what i called "ROOCKSSS!!!" yeah!! It's true! It's true! I trust my ears on SE n SAMSUNG not on that flat silly so called iphone..Peace :)

dears ,
1)why sony has only 30 dialed, missed and received calls , i need more data to be saved , nokia has 30 days record and samsung is unlimited
sonyericson should think and increase the data record ,,
2)video of samsung i8910 hd is 1280x720 pixel , and sony is just vga means 640x480 , its very small pic size
i think these 2 points should be solved to be winner in the race of mobiles ,

we couldnt compare SE with ... moreNokia always rocks???says who??those d*mb people who don't know nothing about mobiles and brag about things that they don't even understand?
With the recent lineup of crappy sets I don't think nokia rocks, it sux big time. Just look at N86...its the same old boring and crappy set from nokia with no innovation.
Yes nokia sells more..but just because of their cheap sets that are popular amongst people who can't buy high end sets. When it comes to functionality nokia sux...most of the features do not function the way they are suppose to.
SE always has the best camera, sound and a great UI. In fact I have not heard anything better than SE walkman phones as far as the sound quality is concerned. Even Iphone can't produce that bass which SE sets produce. So keep your st*pid remarks to yourself, if you are nokia fan then go to nokia forum to brag about it, don't come to tell lies.

It is really nice h/s with afirst time 12m.p. camera in handset series so it is the achievement made by the SE & hope they maintain this in future as well
