u know what! s.e nokia and samsung are pissing me off with this megapixel thing. first vga, then 1.3mp then 2mp, then 3.2mp then 5mp then 8mp then 12mp. no time for 10mp. the sequence is killing me. just go straight to 24mp next time ok S.E people. it sounds crazy now but just u wait & sea i mean see.

12mp useless,and we know cybrshot are nothing compared to kodak n nikon
This idou just concept and announced early to get attention,sony always makes loser product..
Cutted 8000 jobs last year,and this year announce will cut 8000 jobs..coz their main selling point ps3 suffered low demand (1/3 of xbox,1/2 of wii)

It should have optical zoom instead of 12mpx. A phone's camera will never trump a dedicated digital camera so why lots of MP???

CMOS sensor is just only a converter.... it convert light into electric charge... then process it into a electronic signal.... SOOOOOOOOOOOO.... even if you have 3 meters of CMOS sensor and your lens is dulll.... that doenst collect good light.... then what will happen to your MP or GP picture? SOOOOOOOOO!>.... LENS is very important.... even if you have only 3MP and the lens is a good quality.... then.... then....????? its your choice...
