Agreed... The real launch date of this phone seem to far away.
But if you want Qwerty keyboard you got xpereia1 :) (not as cool I know) I am glad though there isnt a qwerty on this phone. Never liked it... T9 i just as fast and the phone isnt at bulky.

Here we go again! Announcing a product a year before it will be available! Just like Xperia missed deadlines, so will this model. Seriously; it may not be ready until next year! Furthermore, the long release times will give other companies the chance to release their own versions. SE now loses its advantage. Companies should release their phones no later than a month after announcing so that they can capture the market while it's hot.
As for the 12MP hype, it has definitely worked. Many are excited over what is essentially out of depth territory for a mobile phone. A well made 5MP module on a mobile is plenty. 12MP is dedicated camera territory. The high MP will only make the phone unstable.
There are so many other challenges to overcome in the mobile arena eg implementation of a reliable fast processor that positively impacts on computations such as browsing. Can one go to a website such as CNN; pick any video and play it full screen without having to wait 100 years for it to load up. Will the clip be played smoothly?
Does the device have a hardware QWERTY or are we stuck on posing with screen QWERTYs? Note that the world speed record for typing on a phone was done on an in-built QWERTY. It is quintessential hardware for a mini-computer but superfluous for a fashion accessory. Is this phone a mini-computer or a designer handbag? SE should get its priorities right!
