Ok, I made a little test today for you.
I copied files to the phone memory until it had only 25k free. My impression is that it runs the same, perhaps, perhaps a little slower but I'm not sure.
This phone is not made for applications.
I installed a couple of big games like (ninjagaide, pac-man2007, racedriver, rallyrace3) and neither would work. It tried to install "supermario_a7d7kqfn" and it would not install, and every time when I tried to install it, the phone restarts.
I installed a game ninjagaide and when it started it was written that the phone has 2357k Total memory and 267k free memory(I think it's ROM).
This memory has nothing to do with "Internal 5MB memory of the phone". I believe that the 2357k memory(that is not specified in any review or book) is very important for applications and stuff.
If you want to buy a phone for applications, buy another phone with more money, but if you want a simple phone with good music/radio, with reasonable camera, with a little memory for little games, this is the phone. When I will buy a microSD card I will tell you if it's working. Bye

When I will install some applications and make another comparison with another phone that has the same app but different internal memory I will tell you.
For now I cannot really say something accurate about it. And when I don't know I don't know. I don't invent things just to say something :)

It has the same issue with the m... morehey jaison, i have asked so many people abt the demerits of low internal memory like in this phone, but cud not come to the conclusion. some say that it makes a phone very slow, some say it does not effect phn performance until heavy applications are used. some say that transfer speed become low via bluetooth.
i think u r the best person to ask as u r having this phn. what do u find as demerits of this phone due to LOW INTERNAL MEMORY?

I changed the phone today. It has the same issue with the microsd card. When I will buy and try a new one, I will tell you; but for now I think it's the card.

Last time I said the battery lasts 2/3 days but now I think the battery lasts 2 days with normal battery use.
Ah yes and I just discovered that the alarm has vibration but I can't turn it off, witch freaks me out actually; I like to wake up nice with a discreet sound, not a damn vibrator witch scares me :))
That means I need to create a profile for the night, without vibrating alert, and after the alarm won't vibrate in the morning.

I learned it in... moreMy w205 also shows same symptoms sometimes it doesnt recognize the memory card and i hav to reboot, sometimes it doesnt support a mp3 file and says file format not supported and while browsing web through opera mini it freezes then i hav to remove the battery it has same internal memory of 5mb...does spiro support themes?

I recieved the phone 3 days ago as a gift.
I learned it inside out and this is my opinion.
I am a DJ also, and trust me when I tell you that this phone sounds really good, and really loud also(if you are on a bike, you don't hear any cars near you). The headphones are cool, and the radio sounds ok and loud. The equalizer has 4 presets "normal","bass","voice" and "treble boost". All are working except the bass preset. You can't hear the diference between bass and normal. And it has another option, stereo widening, witch with headphones sounds bad really.
The speaker sounds loud and ok, depends if you have a 320kb file or radio :)
It has a very nice design, rounded, fells nice when you touch it.
The display is nice and the colors are real.
I charged the battery 1.5 days ago and i listened today for 4 hours radio, and now it's at 25%.
I believe that the battery lasts like 2-3 days with normal use + radio and photos.
The photos are 2Mp, at sun light they are ok, but at the room light, sometimes they are a little "foggy"
Now coming at the negative stuff:
It has 5MB memory so it runs with a millisecond delay(but it's not so a big issue)
The blue-tooth takes longer then other SE to find other phones(instead of 5 sec it takes 10-15), but it works eventually.
On the round keyboard if you press down it executes the program TrackID, witch is really cool if you need it, but I DON'T NEED IT and I CANNOT change that key with another shortcut, I'd like to enter the agenda when pressing down for example.
From when I started to use it, it has blocked for a couple of times for different reasons.
Once the bluetooth icon would not dissapear.
Twice Java blocked and it was working really slow.
Today I listened to the radio and I wanted to make a picture and when I entered the phone menu the "enter/ok" key was not working!
Each time I restarted the phone.
Ah yea and the really cool part is that I have a Micro sd card of 512MB from and old nokia. It works really fine. I put it in the phone it works. After one hour i cannot use it because the phone does not recognize the files in the card. I press the volume keys on the side of the phone and I see a card with 470MB free space. That happened a couple of times especially if I have a ring-tone that's one the card. If I receive a call, the ring-tone starts and blocks at second 1 and after you need to restart the phone for the card to work again.
Each time that happens, you need to restart the phone or take the card out and put it in.
And I forgot to tell you that on the microsd card it is written Nokia! Perhaps it's not working good for that reason, but i know myself with IT and stuff and I think it's a normal card that doesn't have anything special and it should work!
Tomorrow I will go and change my phone with another Spiro, and I will test another "neutral" microSD card.
I hope my new phone will work without restarts :)
Well my final comment is:
IF the software was working fine and the card also, I would buy it.
For little money you get a phone with a really good mp3/radio player and an "ok" camera and a phone with a reasonable battery!
I hope this review helps someone :)

sayon, ofcorse the Zylo is better, but this is a budget phone, the Zylo is twice the price so obviously it will be slightley better, but if you are looking for a budget phone, this is the one to get, it has a decent camera, facebook apps, IM/MSN, and the best part...it is like the onley phone under £60 that will take a 16GB MEMORY CARD!
MOST ONLY TAKE LIKE 2/4GB!!!

This is definitly a sagem phone... i already bought the s312 and now regretting it... Dont buy this one its a waste of money if you really want low end music phones go for nokia xpress music 5130, x2, x3 which has superb sound quality but you'll hav to get separate earphones because the supplied earphones are not that good...but if ur planning on buying sony ericsson then i suggest you buy the high end ones like w995...
