Nice phone, but the most important thing for a mobile phone-the signal- is very weak, and loosing it very often, this makes the phone not very usable...a toy.

Once you shut it down it will not start again.
Take the card out, leave it to cool down for 1/2h. And try to start it.
This helps with my phone.

A friend did bring me his Sony Ericsson T100. He used it about 2 months and suddenly it powered itself off and did not respond anymore. I did open it, there was no dust or dirt or any other traces (water) of things that could harm the phone. I did over clean the contacts, soldered the pins behind charger and did other things that I taught that would help… still nothing. If anyone can help or has suggestions, send mail.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have Sony Ericsson, when insert the sim its says incorrect I think i have to Decode it what you I do am in Ghana now my husband bought it for me in Europe.

i want to buy this phone but im not sure if its gonna be worth it. im gonna read the reviews u guys put up on the DB but i dont think i can trust that, cos ive seen peeps write some nice things about the motorola t191, and thats not right cos thats the lousiest phone ive owned!!!!

Your website is great. it is one of very few that gives me info on a phone i want to know about (the sony ericsson T100). I have a few questions
1. does the sony ericsson have an organiser? i'm assuming the calender is the organiser.
2. how many activities can be stored on the organiser if it has one?
3.can the phone be set to vibrate when an organiser activity comes up?
4.can the phone be set up to vibrate when the alarm goes off?
5. can the phone be set to vibrate when receiving a delivery status note after sending an sms?
6. can the phone be set to ring and vibrate at the same time and not vibrate first and then ring?

Hello,
I bought a Sony Ericsson T100 sometimes in February 2004 but after using it for a week it just went dead. I have tried contacting local experts here in Nairobi (Kenya) but none can revive the phone.
This was my first Sony Ericsson and now I have given up on S.E products.

i'm using sonyericsson T100,i like the phone but i dont like themonophonic ring tones.recently i discovered that i'm having problems with the phone.It goes off on it own and come back on by itself. got it around december last year.

this phone sucks big time! i`ve had more problems with it then i had in three years with ten other phones. the messaging function is disoriented, the charger crushes verry often and i`ll give you an advice: don't shut it down! it may never turn on again (it happened to me).
