A value for money phone.But gets hanged quite often.excellent design,convinient to use though the keypad is so is very poor.overall perfomance is not very good.T290i would be a better choice.

This is something very hopeless. I dont understand why the charger pin is made so complicated. Also the phone hangs sometimes in between and is not bale to catch the signals if they are poor.

its ok ive had it for about 7 or 8 months but i think that the composer on it is a heap of crap!!! it is all only in the one pitch!!! so u cannot compose unless u want your ringtone to sound like crap. U CANT GET COVERS!!! i say this to everyone. no covers= bad. ecspecially when u drop it on the first day like some1 i know (aka me) now it is all scratched and i cant do anything about it!!!also no info-red. i have just got the lg c1100 it is sooooo much betta and alot faster. another prob with the t230 s that there is jo camera and if you want 1 you have to pay more than you payed for the phone in the first place. good games though. i dont really recomend this fone to anyone. if u do want a fone get n nokia.

I can't seem to get rid of the Handsfree setting so therefore I can't hear what the other person is saying as I don't have the handsfree set! Can anyone help me please??

i have good handset of sony eriction T230. but last two month, i am facing problem with network problem. i having BSNL SIM card (india, gujarat). i asked so many time to customer care but there is no problem. something is wrong with my handset. i am not getting coverage properly. please help me in this regard.

Oh the problem got solved!!!!
According to my friend's suggestion I cleaned the SIM and reinserted it and voila it works fine!!

Hi,
My T230 mobile is giving problem after 6 months of purchase. When I am speaking over a call, my voice is not heard by the caller at all. Don't know if this is a genuine problem with this instrument. Pls let me know if anyone of you has faced similar issue. If so how to corrct it.

actually im using this ericsson t230 right now...i like the style,the features,etc...its slim,,,,i cant change this ericsson t230 to other model of cellphone....

actually i'm using the T290i.. in it's shape weight, and size, I can say it is good. Not bulky, very handy.. But the speed when you text is very slow.. It is because of the key's too small... Amd also no cam, bluetooth, radio.. All are to be attached, where at first I thought it is already attached... non java games also.. too bad.. but gud for caling and txting purposes only.. nice phone but not really that nice..

Everything about this set is good except the battery. the talk time is poor, plus u cant download polyphonic ringtones in it. the rest of the features r better than most nokia sets. Buy it at ur own discretion.

purchased this phone,it sticks alot,it is slow gave alot of problems from day one.Its attractive size and look is the only plus.If you are thinking about buying this make it your last choice

I've bought a T230 trusting in the reputation of the names of Sony and Ericsson... but , the T230 is the *worst phone I ever used in all my life*. Poor sensitivity, the keypad responds slowly to keypresses and a lot of other awful things. I'll never buy a Sony-Ericsson phone again.

We're very unhappy with the T237 thaty sold to us by a local dealer. He charged too much for it and we took it back in less than a week because the battery wouldn't hold a charge. After considerable grumbling he replaced the battery but that one didn't last a month. There's something defective in the phone itself.

I have bought Sony ericsson T290i before 4 months and till date it is working perfectly.Yah it is right tht this phone does not have features like-Camera, Infrared or FM but if you look at price factor,sony is providing good value of money.If you expect that a company will provide you all the above facility in INR 3850, then you are certainly not OK. I have compared its features with other companies phones who are around this price tag no other phone even comes near to Sony Ericsson 290i.

Hunk of Junk. Another one for the scrap heap. Take it from a Mobile Phone Salesperson (thats me by the way). More software errors than you can poke a stick at!

this is a very stupid phone. it has no infrared, no callender, no bluetooth, nothing to redeem itself. dont buy this phone. it is a trap. u have to buy the camera seperately too.
