this is the best fone for a person who doesn't want a complicated fone - it has just about everything.

I had problems with the first one I had, then got a new one sent to me. The major complaint I have is on the phone picking up waaaayyy to much background noise! I am suprised no one else commented on this. Anytime I am somewhere noisy on the phone, the person on the other end hears EVERYTHING in the background. What is up with that? So I guess the microphone is way to sensitive. It seems not to get a very strong signal. The camera is absolutely useless. Everyone that I call is like, "Your phone sucks! You gotta get a new phone!"

this phone is very good. but it has 2 points that i don't like: it has small memory and you can't make photos when it's dark. in rest he is excelent equipated and its design is superb

T610 dont have speaker phone as well as it have less option to edit pictures as compare to nokia phones

I bought this phone few months ago. It's really a good phone with nice shape and design. The only thing can be upgraded is the speaker. Other than that, this model is really user-friendly.

I've had my T610 for at least 18 months, and the only thing that's gone wrong was the speaker, which was repaired under warranty. The phone is still well equipped by today's standards, and the design has ages incredibly well. Unfortunately new facias are as good as impossible to find in the UK, usually resulting in an eBay auction, but still changing the facia gives the phone a strange burst of life.
Likewise, downloading new themes from the SonyEricsson GPRS site. And they're free, too, and look and work fantastically. The pros of this phone really don't need much talking about, but - ringtones are clear through the 32 chord speaker, the screen is great quality, the camera less so. The Lithium Polymer battery is brilliant, though, and lasts a long time, irrespective of what the phone's doing.
But what about the cons? Well, phone calls (the very reason for having a phone, no?) could be clearer and louder, the connection with the charger has almost given up on mine, and the phone would have benefitted from some more memory. After a day or two of taking photos and so on, the memory's as good as full, meaning you have to be very selective and use the memory wisely. Also, the joystick will lose sensitivity after time (mine's only lost sensitivity after a year and a half of solid use) which can make browsing the menus a little frustrating.
On the whole the phone is a great piece of kit, has stood the test of time incredibly well, and doing simple things like downloading a new Theme can bring back any love lost over time. A great phone.

I love my T610. I got mad at my girl friend once when I was talking to her over this phone and threw it over 50 yards (45 meters). The phone broke into 3 pieces. I picked it up snapped it back together and it still works more than a year later.

A really good looking phone but surprising it does not have the speaker phone facility. Now come on you can hear sounds loudly than why not the speaker phone.Joystick does seem to give problems after some time.A really good phone for the price.

The phone is quite ok for the price. I can´t understand why it doesn´t has a speakerfunction, the speaker is right there!The camera is bad, useless. Nice design, much better that the 630.

I had this phone for about 18 months (before it was stolen) and i thought it was a fairly solid phone, apart from one MAJOR problem. After about 8 months, the 'joystick' started to wear out, and by 16 it had completely lost all movement capabilities. the only way i could navigate the menu is by spending 5 minutes poking it has hard as possible to open it up and then navigating using the numbers. text messaging was a NIGHTMARE.
fine if you change your phone often, but when i buy something i want it to last. apart from this, it seemed to be fine.

i am from srilanka,i brought 610i phone last week,in srilanka these features phones are very expensive but this phone has lot of features and cheap.

In market have many brand of mobilephone but I still like SE phone because it easy to used than other like motorola, siemen & .....

Actually this phone was not so bad only if the memory have high capacity, camera have high resolution would be better. It sometime have double action (eg. I press 5 & came out two 5). I like the design and it has Infrared & blue tooth compared with motorola E365, T610 is quite nice.

This phone sucks! I bought T610 just a year ago and now it's busted already and beyond repair. The phone keeps on hanging and you have to turn it off. The camera resolution is horrible! Ericsson should stop manufacturing it! DO NOT BUY T610
