I have the T610 and my friend has the Moto.
Screen, the moto wins as it's an active matrix while the T610 is passive.
Camera, the moto wins as it has higher res...
Connectivity, the T610 wins. Bluetooth & IR.
Polyphonic, Moto louder, but T610 more realistic.
T610 has both Java and Mophun, moto non (she said. I think it should at least have java)
Memory status on the Moto is terrible..
On the T610, it shows how many free kb you have, and how many kb each category is taking up (sounds, pictures, themes and all)...
As for the moto, you get this stupid bar with 75% free. What's that supposed to mean? =P..
Moto uses iTap, T610 uses T9.
GRPS and MMS on the T610 is much faster and stable when compared to the Moto.
MMS is more complete on the T610 with more option than the Moto. Moto limited to 60kb. T610 can send as large as possible.
Moto's menu is very simple and plain. Sure, it might have animations, but alot of ppl who see both mine and her phone thinks the T610's screen is better (as the menu looks better and makes use of the 65k colours)

Hi guyz, i just had read all the comments from you all. I'm considering to buy a 65K color phone with hi-res camera, and brilliant display + any connection to a computer to transfer informations. Does this T610 really will meet my requirements? I had had gone thorugh some sites. I had compared the T610 and Motorola e365 phone and it seems that the motorola also had prove the screen quality and the camera resolution. But it also seems that both phones is having pros & cons. How is your SE T610? satisfied ??? In your opinion which one of this can be " the one". Plz help :-)

@S
Understand. But you must remember, you're comparing a phone to a 'Smartphone'.
I've done enough of this arguement already. Too lazy to say again, so I'll make it brief.
This is a phone, not a smart phone. If you want a smart phone, by all means get the 3650. But you must remember that the T610 is so much smaller and lighter than the 3650.
About your screen case. I'll tell you why you think the 3650's screen is better. Because it has more pixels. In terms of displaying colours, the T610 will win, but in terms of displaying clearer image, the 3650 wins as it has more res. That's all.
Memory? It's a phone dammit.. not a smart phone..
You want to compare smartphones, compare the 3650 to the P800 in which the P800 wins hands down although its older.

yeah, i read the oppinions given by u people and now am really sad for the decision that i made, belive me, it isnt worth the price, yeah its go a realy shit camera with no camera clarity and no resolution(3650 got 640*480), damn sluggggish menue and sms writing, moreover the keys are so dams hard to press... a total waste of money(tough it is better that 7250, my previous buy but....)...AND JUST LESS THAN 2 MB, AROUND 1.6 ON MY NEW BOX PACKED ONE... DAMN............
Take my advice and dont buy this shit(i know that many people are gonna bounce back no my oppinion but before giving me a reply atleast consider that what all i am saying about this shit is true)

I purcahsed this phone, i am very pleased with it , sometimes the menus are slow, if you really go nuts with the joystick, another problem is the SMS, if you type fast, REAL fast, it lags, just like all phones i guess, i have R1A, one ofthe oldest firmwares, i will need to upgrade soon.
Its a good phone and worth every cent !
So far, i have been seeing the screen very clear under sunglight !

Ive heard from the esato.com forums that there is a new firmware version for the T610...more improvements!!!
Also a rumour that it may be possible to have a new screen fitted to the T610...the same that is in the Z600...its just a rumour but check with your Sony Ericsson service centre...it may be true!

Yes, can be changed.. but you'll have to get them to change it for you. Warrenty will still be there. I did it with my T68i last time. Will do it for the T610 in the future.
