I need a simple Yes or No response.
Can this model Sony Ericsson play MP3's as the ringtone.
Example. I like a song (MP3). I send it to this phone. Would I be able to play it as my ringtone?

Cute fone and really handy.more memory would have been better and maybe a player or FM.Pls someone tell me how to save a number on my sim cos it saves to fone automatically, and also how to transfer a contact's details from the fone memory to sim.

well it is a nice phone with nice facilities but i have this prblems with the pjone please i use T630 but it can't use sound record for ringing tone ,please i need to use it, how can i do that?, please i need to know, and it the infarred does not work, when i try to send some pictures and music to it, the one sending report's no device found, but if i send to another from my T630 it enters.please tell how i can make it to recieve with the infarred from another phone, how to activate it to be able to recieve. and can it record vidoe clips? please tell me how o activate my GPRS or connect to sony ericsson network to be able to recieve info from them and browse with my phone.This is my mobile line and email 234-8058138296 or ifylive2@yahoo.com

This Phone is horrific!! When I just bought it, the battery failed, it was very very(seriously) laggy, i went back to sony ericsson countless times to just change the charger! Even the charger! OMG! Every picture i took was blur and I would advise you people out there not to get this phone. There are newer and better ones. I will be changing my phone next week. YAY! Generally I still trust Sony Ericsson, but maybe only its newer products. T630.. UGH.

Message to Donnie: i had a T630 SE too,and was the same thing.When i was receveing a picture from eg.K508 its size was 3-4 times bigger! i don`t know why but it looks like the T-series are like this.Don`t worry,you`r phone is good.

this phone is great but i have an animation picture her size is 100kb but when i sendet 2 nokia 3200 it was just 14kb why?????

Well, I had this phone since December/2004 until today. [Because I bought a new one] And let me tell you that this phone has been totally reliable and loyal. Never had some weird "behavior", the joystick has been working perfectly too and even though the functions are a bit limited, it's a great phone. I'd definitely recommend it.

my mobile is only of 8 months but my joy stick (down side and right side one )is not working and sound is low scince from 2 days and also i have forgot my phone lock number is there any way to solve it please solve the problem

Nice phone but short on features like no memory slot. You cant even play mp3s! and you can't set its ringtone to mp3. Well anyway on the other side, it is much better than N7650 and N3650 because SE T630 has 65k TFT pic resolution.

My T630 is one year old phone. Everything is o.k. except joystick. Shame!

the phone is somewhat ok.but,but why can't i activate my gprs,it has usb,how do i use it..
the cam is ok,but the picture are bit not good but still ok.how do i use the recorded sound.to be a ringtone

the camera for this phone is not bad actually.. u'll noticed it was a big difference if u transfer ur photo to a more advance phone such as K700 and etc. I think is the screen resolution tat affect the result of photo taking..so, dun blame the camera,just blame da screen..

It's a nice phone.
The battery is good (4-5 days) and the design is what I need. Mine is over 1 year old and the problems started to appear: the joystick works only when it wants (3 direction only Joystick :)) ), the back-cover opens very easily now and the margins are loosing the paint. This was the ugly part.
