i have a question regarding my phone T630. I used this ine for almost 5 years. my question is why is that my phone if there is someone who calls me and text me even if the numbers already save in the phonebook, why the names do not appear and also in the call list both the names and numbers do not appear?

I had this phone for seven years, from 2003 and until this year. How many phones nowadays are going to last for seven years? Very few. So as far as durability goes, I put this phone on the top with the Nokia 5110. I'm sure my phone kissed the ground countless of times, but it always worked fine afterwards. The buttons are big, but lacks grip. Whether you like this or not depends on individual taste, I guess.
There are some problems with this phone, though:
1.) It has very little phone-memory, so you will constantly delete MMS/SMS/notes to make space for new ones.
2.) The camera is *very* picky on ambient light, and the camera lens gets dirty pretty quick. It is difficult to keep the lens clean, and it has no protection shutter.
3.) After turning the phone on, it uses about 20 seconds to load your contact list. This happens even if your contact list is stored on the phone instead of the SIM-card.
If you just use your phone as a.. phone, I recommend this one. That is, actually calling people, and sending SMS messages. If you want extra peripherals and applications/games, look elsewhere.
I just bought a Nokia N900, since the battery in my T630 finally died. I doubt my N900 will last as long as this one. I give the Sony Ericsson T630 three out of five stars, taking its features and age into account.

This is one of the best phones relative to 2003 year. I've been using it for 3 years and didn't have any problems with it. Don't accuse it because it was 2003 and today is 2010, for those times this phone was a perfect decision!

I've always loved the older SonyErics and after I upgraded from a T610 to this, I've never looked back. I've had 5 phones since this has come out and my T630 is still my backup go-to phone. It's fast, light and small, plus looks a lot more elegant than most of the newer phones now.

I've used this phone for many years and is one of my backup phones now. I love the look of it, especially the back and the clear keys. It's appearance looks more stylish than many current models of cell phones.

This was a good phone. Actually my second phone. Camera was a bit weak but for 2003 enough. After 2 years using and working as a construction builder it finally found its end. When it was -20c outside Nokia phones would get extremelly slow but not this one. Worked quick allways. One thing that still amazes me. There were ever no dust under the screen. EVER. Now I have been using Se k750i and display gets dusty. Miss that phone. I think I'll buy it someday for fun.
