However I'll also need to consider: txt's scratch resistant surface, larger internal memory, and better camera (SEs have traditionally better cameras). But most important of all, which is more user friendly - tactile and software-wise.

Please help me. I wanna buy this phone, but i would like to come with some app or something to view office file, like word, and even pdf files...And i ve already seen on sony ericsson.com/specifications that dont come with this function...does anybody here may help me?

Its not even in the same league price-wise with the SE txt: its more than $60USD (close to PHP2,900) more expensive! A REAL alternative would be something closer to the txt's price.

I had a chance to check out this phone today & just like its name "txt", it's made strictly for texting, if you have small fingers
It only comes with a charger, no headset, no data cable, no memory card (sits behind battery).
I almost bought this phone until I found out there is no option to sync email contacts, even my old T700 has it. It doesn't even work with SE PC Companion either via bluetooth or cable.
It sells for about 100usd, and for that I think you're better of with Nokia C3, as it comes with a headset, better battery & 2GB microsd.

the slider of the txt pro is not so great.. also, from what i hear, the touch screen is slightly sluggish..
the website says the txt is now available, but haven't seen it in the shops yet.. any idea on the price in india?

avail colors for philippine market. black and white colors are the only options. too bad i want the blue one or perhaps pink.

The design is fantastic, isn't it, why not use it (again, slightly modified if necessary)? Today SE midrange seems to be consisting of exactly one all-in-one phone - Elm, and Elm's design isn't exactly what you could call everyone's cup of tea, I suspect that Elm would have been far more popular if it had Cedar's design. So why not release several models with one good design, one with lower price, another with better specs and higher price?

i think i'm going to buy a new phone. but i can't decide whether sony ericsson txt or sony ericsson txt pro should i buy.. which one is better? sony ericsson txt or sony ericsson pro? someone please help me. thanks
